GeForce NOW Adds 12 Games in July, Including Star Wars Monopoly

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service is launching 12 new titles this July, starting with Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains. This reimagined version of the classic board game lets players pick between heroes and villains from the Star Wars universe, bringing property trading to a galaxy far, far away. The game, released on June 30, is available via Steam and Ubisoft’s platform.

The July lineup underscores GeForce NOW’s ongoing strategy of delivering fresh content weekly. Alongside the Star Wars-themed Monopoly, highlights include Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced (July 9), Denshattack! (July 15), and the Lovecraftian The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu (July 15). The games cater to various genres, from strategy to horror, and are accessible across devices like PCs, Macs, and even smartphones. The full list spans both new releases and established titles.

Expanding Accessibility and Performance

GeForce NOW’s appeal lies in its versatility. The service operates on a bring-your-own-game (BYOG) model, enabling users to stream games they already own on platforms like Steam, Xbox, and Epic Games Store. Recent upgrades, such as the January 2026 launch of a native Linux app with 5K and 360FPS support, underline NVIDIA’s commitment to enhancing the user experience.

NVIDIA’s infrastructure also continues to evolve. In August 2025, the company integrated its Blackwell architecture into GeForce NOW, boosting performance and visual fidelity. This focus on cutting-edge technology ensures members can enjoy cinematic visuals, low latency, and high frame rates without the need for expensive gaming hardware.

Limited-Time Membership Deals

Adding to the excitement, GeForce NOW’s Summer Sale offers significant discounts on its memberships. Until early July, users can save $35 on a 12-month Performance membership or $70 on the Ultimate tier. The Performance plan provides reliable RTX-powered gaming, while the Ultimate plan delivers top-tier performance with RTX 4080- or 5080-class capabilities, ray tracing, and NVIDIA DLSS.

One community member recently shared on Reddit that the Ultimate membership’s discounted price reduced their monthly cost from approximately 29 CAD to 17 CAD, illustrating the value of locking in these deals. For those eager to expand their game libraries, many titles available on GeForce NOW are also featured in the concurrent Steam Summer Sale.

Why It Matters

GeForce NOW’s consistent content updates and aggressive pricing strategies are part of NVIDIA’s broader push to maintain dominance in the cloud gaming sector, which is poised for significant growth. By onboarding popular titles and supporting nearly every device imaginable, the platform continues to attract both casual and dedicated gamers.

For NVIDIA, this also complements its core GPU business, leveraging its hardware expertise to power a subscription-based model. With a market cap of $4.83 trillion as of July 2026, NVIDIA’s ability to expand GeForce NOW’s appeal could further solidify its position as a tech leader.

GeForce NOW users can look forward to more updates throughout July, with games like Fogpiercer (July 17) and The Ranchers (July 30) on the horizon. Gamers interested in taking advantage of the Summer Sale should act quickly before the discounts disappear.
