Strategy sold $263.5M in MSTR shares but made no Bitcoin purchase, keeping its holdings at 843,775 BTC and boosting cash reserves.

Strategy ended another week without adding to its Bitcoin holdings despite raising fresh capital through its at-the-market share program.

The company disclosed that it sold millions of MSTR shares while keeping its Bitcoin position unchanged.

Its latest filing also showed a larger U.S. dollar reserve and no activity under its share repurchase plans. The update arrived through a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Strategy Raises $263.5M Through MSTR Share Sale

Strategy reported that it sold 2,732,318 Class A MSTR shares between July 13 and July 19.

The sales generated net proceeds of about $263.5 million through its at-the-market offering program.

The SEC filing showed that none of the company’s preferred stock programs recorded sales during the same period.

Those programs still retain billions of dollars in remaining issuance capacity.

The filing also stated that more than $23.5 billion in MSTR share issuance capacity remains available. That includes the current offering and the expanded authorization announced earlier this year.

Wu Blockchain shared the filing details on X, pointing out that Strategy completed the share sale without using the proceeds to acquire more Bitcoin during the reporting week.

Bitcoin Holdings Stay at 843,775 BTC

Strategy confirmed that it made no Bitcoin purchases between July 13 and July 19. As a result, its total holdings remained at 843,775 BTC.

According to the filing, the company has spent about $63.69 billion to build its Bitcoin treasury. That places its average acquisition cost at approximately $75,476 per Bitcoin, including related fees and expenses.

The unchanged balance marks a pause after months of frequent Bitcoin accumulation. Weekly updates from Strategy have often included fresh purchases funded through equity or other capital raises.

The latest disclosure focused only on the reporting period and did not provide any future guidance regarding potential Bitcoin acquisitions.

USD Reserve Grows as Share Repurchases Pause

Strategy also reported that its U.S. dollar reserve reached approximately $3.225 billion as of July 19.

The balance includes expected cash from ATM share sales that had not yet settled by the reporting date.

The company said the reserve supports dividend payments on its preferred stock and interest obligations tied to outstanding debt.

Maintaining the reserve forms part of its treasury management approach. In the same week, Strategy did not buy back shares in its share buyback programs.

There were no repurchase transactions between July 13 and July 19, the filing said.

The firm also reminded investors that updates on its Bitcoin holdings, market information, key metrics and other disclosures are still available on its public dashboard besides official SEC filings.
