U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott has joined the renowned crypto advocate Senator Cynthia Lummis and other Senate members in their relentless push to pass the CLARITY Act bill.
In a recent X post shared by Chairman Tim Scott, he pledged to push the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act through Congress to establish a legal crypto market structure for Americans.

The supportive commentary from Chairman Scott came after Senator Cynthia Lummis released a crucial update regarding the CLARITY Act, which combines the work of the Senate Banking and Agriculture Committees to jointly propose a regulatory framework for the crypto market in the region.
In his statement, the South Carolina Senator stressed the need to pass the CLARITY Act, acknowledging that it protects everyday Americans and their hard-earned money.
He also noted that it gives entrepreneurs a fair opportunity to seamlessly build and create jobs, thereby strengthening the economic growth of the country.
While he promises to join and support the push to get the CLARITY Act into law, Chairman Scott further praised Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman and Digital Assets Subcommittee Chair Cynthia Lummis for their collaboration on the initiative.

Just yesterday, Senator Lummis released an updated draft of the proposed legislation, which she described as the product of cooperation between the Banking and Agriculture Committees.
While it further strengthens her effort to provide regulatory clarity for cryptocurrencies and digital commodities in the U.S., the Senator stated that the coming weeks could represent the best opportunity in years for Congress to pass meaningful digital asset legislation.
While the Senator further expressed optimism that lawmakers can reach a final agreement that allows the bill to become law, Chairman Scott has promised to push this into reality, marking a significant breakthrough for major crypto assets including Bitcoin, XRP, and others.
