TLDR
- XRP is trading at $1.13, down 69% from its all-time high of $3.65 set in January 2026
- Whale wallets holding 100K–100M XRP bought 600 million coins (~$678M) over five weeks
- The CLARITY Act passage odds sit at 39–43%, with Senate Republicans releasing an updated draft on July 22
- XRP ETFs saw zero flows on July 22, though total 2026 net inflows remain above $200 million
- A bull flag pattern on the 4-hour chart points to a potential move to $1.24 if price clears $1.16
XRP is trading at $1.13 as of July 23, 2026. That puts it 69% below its all-time high of $3.65, which it hit in January this year.

Despite the price drop, large wallets are buying. Santiment data shows that wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP added 600 million coins over the five weeks leading to July 22. That purchase is worth around $678 million at current prices — a 2.8% increase in their total holdings.
🐋 XRP’s move back above $1.16 Tuesday looks very much justified based on recent wallet behavior. Whales & sharks holding 100K to 100M XRP have added +2.8% more coins to their bags in five weeks, showing whales and sharks are leaning in while the chart finally starts rewarding… pic.twitter.com/aFmRll4HKJ

Trading volume stands at $980 million per CoinMarketCap. Open interest in XRP futures has fallen to $2.50 billion, down from $2.96 billion on June 1, according to Coinglass. Derivatives volumes have also dropped from $15 billion in February 2026 to $1.91 billion now.
The XRP Ledger crossed 1 million agentic transactions this month. The XRPL Lending Protocol also launched, bringing institutional credit infrastructure to the network.
CLARITY Act in Focus
The biggest near-term factor for XRP is the CLARITY Act. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has publicly urged Congress to pass it before the August recess. Senate Republicans released an updated bill text on July 22 that included an ethics provision barring the president from issuing digital assets.
That provision has not won over Democrats. Senators are arguing that state attorneys general should enforce the ethics clause. Polymarket puts passage odds between 39% and 43%.
XRP ETF flows dropped to zero on July 22, likely linked to the uncertainty around the bill. Total net inflows for 2026 remain above $200 million despite the price decline.
Price Levels to Watch
On the 4-hour chart, XRP has formed a bull flag pattern. The pattern carries a height of 7.25%, which would point to a target of $1.24 if XRP closes above resistance at $1.16.

The RSI sits at 55, indicating mild bullish momentum. XRP is currently trading above both the 50-day EMA at $1.11 and the 200-day EMA at $1.12.
If price drops below $1.11, sellers could push it back to the July 20 low of $1.08.
Standard Chartered maintains an $8 price target for XRP in 2026 and $28 by 2030. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said recent liquidations flushed excess leverage from the market and that he is now “very bullish” on a price recovery.
XRP ETFs have recorded over $200 million in net inflows in 2026, even as the price has continued to fall.
