Chainlink Price Faces Risk After Losing $8.38 Support

According to the crypto analyst Crypoto Patel, the LINK price has experienced increased selling pressure after breaking below the critical $8.38 support level and losing its rising trendline structure.

The breakdown has weakened the previous bullish momentum, giving bears greater control over short-term price action. Traders are now watching whether the LINK price can reclaim this zone or continue toward lower support areas.

Considering that the LINK price is trading below the broken support region, the possible targets for further downward movement should be around $7.87, $7.67, and $7.40.

The current short trade setup indicates that the opportunity for going short will be when the price moves above $8.38 to $8.48, while the stop-loss level will be $8.58.

Lombard Finance Integrates Chainlink

The data from Chainlink further highlighted that Chainlink technology has been integrated into Lombard Finance’s “Bitcoin On-Chain Credit Strategy,” which was built in collaboration with Flow Traders.

This integration facilitates the making of deposits in BTC.b and LBTC in a number of different blockchains, thereby providing institutional investors improved access to Bitcoin credit opportunities.

The collaboration highlights the increasing demand for reliable blockchain systems that can connect traditional finance with the decentralized world.

Through the use of cross-chain functionalities offered by Chainlink, Lombard is hoping to attract an increased number of institutions in relation to financial products built around the Bitcoin asset.

Despite the bearish price prediction, the LINK price is moving in an upward trajectory. This move is also backed by the general trend in the crypto market as Bitcoin has started to move upward again, which has impacted the overall market, including altcoins.

What’s Next?

The LINK price will be observing whether the buyers can reverse and reclaim their lost ground from the support of $8.38.

A breakout to the upside of this level may see the bullish momentum resume, while a continuation of the downtrend may drive LINK lower towards the support levels of $7.87, $7.67, and $7.40.
