Dogecoin rose as much as 5% on Sunday, climbing from an intraday low near $0.0692 to above $0.073 as buyers returned to the largest meme coin.
DOGE traded near $0.0726, with its 24-hour range extending to $0.0736. Trading volume increased 18.5% to about $645 million, while its market capitalization stood near $11.27 billion. The move returned price to the upper end of the $0.071 to $0.074 range that contained trading through much of the previous week.
A break above $0.074 would clear the immediate range and open resistance around $0.081 and $0.086. DOGE previously held near $0.073 after a daily TD Sequential buy signal, but failed to build enough momentum to leave the wider consolidation.
Monthly Signal Marks $0.056 As Macro Support
The latest setup appeared on Dogecoin’s monthly chart, where the TD Sequential completed a bullish signal following the extended decline from its 2025 highs.
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez placed the main long-term support near $0.056. A successful defence of that channel boundary would preserve a potential recovery toward $0.16, with the upper boundary near $0.45 serving as the broader bullish target.
Those targets sit well above the current market. DOGE would first need to close above $0.074, reclaim the $0.081 to $0.086 area and rebuild support above $0.10 before the monthly projection toward $0.16 becomes active.
The TD Sequential tracks consecutive candles to identify possible trend exhaustion. A completed buy setup can mark weakening selling pressure, but the signal does not determine whether price will hold its underlying support. DOGE’s current rebound leaves $0.056 as the macro invalidation level rather than the nearest short-term floor.
Social Sentiment Runs Ahead Of Price
Bullish Dogecoin discussion had already accelerated before Sunday’s move. Santiment recorded positive sentiment reaching 12.09 on July 22, while DOGE remained pinned between $0.071 and $0.073 and led meme coins with roughly $455 million in daily volume.
Santiment found no standalone catalyst behind the increase in attention, linking the chatter to improving crypto risk appetite, repeated TD Sequential signals and speculation around Dogecoin payments and exchange-traded funds. The firm classified the setup as low conviction while price remained inside the narrow range.
Large-wallet activity has provided a separate support signal. Whales accumulated more than 525 million DOGE during an earlier pullback, although price failed to sustain a move above $0.10 after those purchases.
A daily close above $0.074 would shift the immediate target toward $0.086. A close below $0.071 would return DOGE to the lower end of its July range, with the monthly channel support remaining at $0.056.
