Binance said that bStocks crossed $500 million in assets under management on July 28, seven weeks after launching with $5.6 million. The product has expanded from five to more than 46 tickers, with 24/7 tokenized-equity access emerging as the main engine behind its early scale.
After U.S. markets close, bStocks accounts for 58% of Binance’s equity-linked volume, while weekend trading reached $2 billion in the latest reported period. Eligible users can also convert bStocks into their underlying direct stocks, or back again, instantly and without conversion fees, making continuous two-way conversion a bridge between tokenized and traditional equity exposure.
Binance said 41.5% of bStocks users began their TradFi activity on the platform through tokenized securities, while Gen Z generated 44% of trading. Still, bStocks are certificates representing financial instruments rather than direct ownership of the underlying shares and are limited to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions. The next test is whether launch-driven adoption develops into sustained liquidity across a broader listing roster.
