Solana Price Signals Historic Bullish Setup

According to the crypto analyst Crypto Patel, Solana (SOL) is drawing renewed bullish attention after analysts identified a macro breakout-and-retest structure that has historically preceded significant rallies.

Similar setups in 2021 and 2023 were followed by gains of roughly 2,500% and 3,600%, respectively. While past performance does not guarantee future returns, the recurring pattern has strengthened confidence in SOL’s long-term outlook.

The price area between $40 and $70 is seen by many analysts as an important accumulation zone. As long as support remains intact, there could be upside targets at $300, $500, $700, and $1,000.

The expected price movement implies possible gains of 10x-20x. But if the lower timeframe closing below $25 takes place, that would mean a bearish scenario.

Solana Mainnet Boosts Capacity With 100M CU Upgrade

The data from Solana further highlighted that the Solana project has successfully launched 100 million compute unit blocks on their mainnet network, which is a significant boost to the scalability of the blockchain.

This has been brought about by the implementation of SIMD-0286, which changes the block size of the blockchain from 60 million to 100 million compute units.

The new update offers a 66% boost in the number of blocks that can be accommodated. It is designed to facilitate increased efficiency among developers and DApps.

The increase in computational power is expected to provide a basis for enhanced performance of the blockchain network going forward.

What Comes Next for Solana?

The path that Solana will take after this will be determined by how well it holds its crucial support levels and breaks out.

Improved performance and increased participation in the ecosystem can lead to a revival of demand for SOL. But it will be up to the traders to see whether the bullish setup results in a move higher.
