Robotics Sales Reach Another Monthly Record
Faraday Future reported 152 robotics sales and shipments during July, marking another monthly record. Consequently, cumulative sales and shipments reached 394 units by the end of July. The total represents progress toward the company’s full-year target of 2,000 units.
The company currently targets education, industrial applications, security, inspection, and other commercial markets. Meanwhile, management said these areas now support wider deployment across its robotics ecosystem. The company expects continued sales growth as distribution and delivery capacity expand.
Faraday Future has built its robotics strategy around devices, software, data, and industry solutions. Therefore, the company aims to connect hardware sales with recurring technology and service opportunities. This structure supports broader commercial use as customers adopt more specialized robotics systems.
FCC Policy Raises Entry Barriers
The FCC added certain foreign-produced advanced robotic devices to its Covered List on July 28. As a result, newly covered products generally cannot secure new FCC equipment authorizations. The action includes mobile robotics devices, such as humanoid and quadruped systems.
Faraday Future said its currently marketed robots already hold the required FCC certifications. Therefore, the company expects existing sales and supply operations to continue without disruption. It also plans additional approvals for future products and regulated components.
Faraday Future expects the policy to increase compliance costs for foreign manufacturers entering the United States. Likewise, management sees stronger partnership demand from suppliers seeking compliant local product channels. The company views this shift as an advantage for its California-based robotics operations.
Built in USA Program Targets Local Production
Faraday Future launched a three-stage program to expand robotics production inside the United States. The first stage covers software, development tools, industry solutions, and the company’s robotics data platform. These systems now provide the foundation for wider local manufacturing.
The second stage will move selected robot assembly and regulated component work into the United States. Subsequently, the third stage will target domestic manufacturing for robots and certain covered parts. The company expects this process to improve supply security and regulatory control.
Faraday Future also plans a partner recruitment conference for robotics suppliers, distributors, customers, and system integrators. The event will target manufacturers, component companies, dealers, rental platforms, and data partners. Through these partnerships, the company aims to accelerate domestic deployment and strengthen its commercial robotics network.
