Cardano whales increased their ADA holdings over the past five days as the cryptocurrency extended its recent price recovery. Santiment data shows that large holders bought more than 240 million ADA, lifting their combined balance to about 14.5 billion tokens.

The buying activity came as Cardano gained about 22% from its recent low. The move suggests that large investors continued adding exposure while ADA traded at higher levels.

Cardano Whales Increase Holdings During Rally

Cardano whales expanded their positions as ADA moved from about $0.16 to nearly $0.19. The accumulation occurred during the rally rather than after a major pullback.

Large holders often influence market sentiment because their transactions involve large amounts of capital. Their latest purchases show continued demand despite recent price swings.

Santiment data places the combined whale balance near 14.5 billion ADA. The increase of more than 240 million tokens marks a strong rise in holdings within five days.

ADA Holds Most Recent Price Gains

ADA price traded at $0.1801 at the time of reporting after falling below $0.19. The token remained 13.6% higher over seven days and gained 1.84% within 24 hours.

The price stayed above most levels recorded before the latest rally. This shows that buyers retained part of the recent advance despite the pullback from the local peak.

Cardano ranked as the 14th-largest cryptocurrency by market value. Its market capitalization stood near $6.75 billion during the reporting period.

Cardano’s daily trading volume increased 43.03% to $614.05 million. The rise showed stronger market participation as traders reacted to the price recovery.

Higher volume supported the recent movement, but it also reflected increased selling near short-term resistance. Market activity remained elevated as ADA traded around $0.18.

The combination of whale buying and rising volume kept Cardano among the more active large-cap cryptocurrencies during the current broader market cycle.

Bearish Wedge Creates Short-Term Pressure

Market analyst GainMuse said ADA confirmed a bearish wedge breakdown on the 30-minute chart. The price reached the first downside target near $0.1791 after falling to about $0.1802.

Rising volume during the breakdown showed that sellers controlled the short-term move. ADA must recover above $0.1808 to cancel the bearish setup.

Failure to reclaim that level could push ADA toward $0.1747. Support stands near $0.1719, followed by a stronger zone around $0.1663 over recent sessions.
