Michael Saylor’s Strategy has sold another portion of its massive Bitcoin treasury, offloading 1,637 BTC worth approximately $102.3 million last week.

According to data shared by blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, the sale reduced Strategy’s holdings to 842,138 BTC, still making it by far the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder. At current prices, the company’s stash is valued at roughly $52.65 billion.

Saylor confirmed the transaction, explaining that the sale was part of a broader treasury management strategy rather than a shift in the company’s long-term Bitcoin thesis.

Strategy’s BTC sales

Earlier this year, Strategy stepped away from its “buy-only” approach. The company first sold 32 BTC in May to fund preferred stock dividends, followed by 3,588 BTC between June 29 and July 5 to replenish its USD reserve and meet dividend obligations. It has now sold another 1,637 BTC.

Each sale has been tied to funding corporate initiatives, preferred stock obligations or capital management programs rather than signaling reduced confidence in Bitcoin.

Despite trimming its position multiple times in 2026, Strategy continues to hold more than 4% of Bitcoin’s total supply. The company’s treasury dashboard shows its Bitcoin reserve represents approximately 4.01% of all BTC that will ever exist.

Bitcoin is currently down around 1% over the past 24 hours, CoinGecko data shows.
