Binance bStocks Surpass $500M AUM With 24/7 Equity Trading

Binance’s bStocks, a new category of tokenized securities, have surpassed $500 million in assets under management (AUM), just seven weeks after launching in June 2026. The rapid growth highlights strong demand for 24/7 trading and tokenized access to U.S. equities, especially outside traditional market hours.

BStocks, introduced on June 12, represent economic exposure to U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. Unlike conventional equities, these instruments are available for trading at any time on Binance’s platform and as BEP-20 tokens on the BNB Smart Chain. They are fully backed 1:1 by the underlying securities, according to Binance’s disclosures.

As of July 29, bStocks expanded from an initial five listings to over 46, including tokenized versions of major stocks like Tesla (TSLAB) and MicroStrategy (MSTRB). The aggregate bStocks ecosystem market cap hovers around $465 million, with recent trading volume trends showing increasing traction, though precise 24-hour figures remain unavailable. Binance also waived maker fees on all bStocks pairs until August 31, 2026, further incentivizing adoption.

“bStocks are reshaping how investors globally access U.S. equities,” Binance noted in its announcement. The product appeals to a crypto-native audience by unlocking equity-like exposures without the constraints of Wall Street’s trading hours. For instance, a trader in Asia can buy or sell bStocks on Binance’s spot market or transfer them on-chain to DeFi venues like PancakeSwap.

However, it’s critical to understand what bStocks are—and aren’t. They’re classified as certificates representing financial instruments, not shares themselves. Holders don’t gain shareholder rights, such as voting or dividends, associated with the underlying companies. Additionally, jurisdictional restrictions apply; bStocks are offered under an approved prospectus in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) but remain unavailable in other regions.

Institutional interest in tokenized securities is rising, driven by their potential to improve efficiency and broaden access. Binance’s entry into the market, with its established user base and liquidity, could accelerate adoption. While traditional equity trading caps at roughly eight hours a day, bStocks enable a 24/7 market, offering greater flexibility and liquidity.

Traders should monitor the ecosystem’s continued growth, particularly as Binance plans to expand listings and deepen its integration with decentralized finance. For now, bStocks offer a compelling case for how tokenized assets could redefine equity markets.
