AAVE Price Targets Breakout Above Key Resistance
According to the crypto analyst Trevor Hunt, the AAVE price is trading below a key rejection zone that could determine its next major move. If buyers reclaim this resistance with strong volume, short sellers trapped beneath the level may rush to close positions.
That covering could create additional buying pressure, potentially accelerating AAVE’s recovery and strengthening bullish momentum toward the $102 target.

However, an inability to breach the resistance will maintain sellers in control, indicating that there is still plenty of supply in the market.
A strong rejection off the level might drive the AAVE price down towards the lower side of the prevailing trading range. It is worth mentioning that volume and price action at the resistance will be watched closely by traders.
Aave Dominates $23.6B Onchain Lending Market
The data from Token Terminal further highlighted that on-chain lending remains vibrant, as evidenced by over $23.6 billion worth of loans currently outstanding within the decentralized finance ecosystem.
The increasing number of loans reflects the rising need for permission-less lending and borrowing, enabling cryptocurrency holders to secure liquidity in a manner that is not dependent on any traditional financial institution.

Aave continues to lead in terms of lending protocols and is holding about $11.2 billion in loans with a market share of 47.7%. Morpho comes in second with $4.5 billion, followed by Spark with $1.8 billion.
The significant amount of capital involved with these DeFi lending protocols speaks volumes of their significance in the market.
Despite the bullish price predictions and network growth, the AAVE price is moving in a downward direction. This move is also backed by the general trend in the crypto market as the BTC price has started to move downward, which has impacted the overall market, including altcoins.
What Could be Next for AAVE?
The next action for the AAVE price is dependent on how well the bulls manage to break through and remain above important resistance levels while maintaining decent volume.
A breakout will lead to increased momentum and push the price of AAVE up to $102, but a failed breakout will lead to another pullback to support levels.
