The United States’ Defense Department has declared Alibaba and Baidu as Chinese military-linked businesses. The classification reduces the Pentagon’s collaboration capacity with the two organizations.

Z.ai, originally named Zhipu AI, falls under stricter guidelines. The firm features on the Entity List of the Commerce Department. Generally, U.S. organizations require licensing to offer technology to them.

DeepSeek and Moonshot have also been charged by U.S. officials of misappropriating intellectual property from their American competitors. Moonshot denied the claims.

USD1 makes up the core funding link between the companies. WorldClaw utilizes the US dollar-based stablecoin for AI services.

USD1 is issued by World Liberty Financial. It holds a range of assets, including US Treasury bonds. Reuters revealed that members of the Trump family get a cut from the venture.

The Trump family has made substantial profits from the broader crypto enterprise. Reuters revealed that World Liberty token sales have earned the Trump family well over $1.4 billion. Their crypto gains were calculated at around $2.3 billion.

World Liberty Financial obtained preliminary permission from the United States for a national bank charter. The bank business proposal mainly involved USD1.

Another link between the two companies comes from Ryan Fang. Fang is the head of growth at World Liberty. He had earlier been an advisor to WorldClaw.

According to WorldClaw, Fang’s role was strictly advisory. He focused on USD1 adoption, partnerships, and wider access to AI services. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have also promoted WorldClaw on X.

Why WorldClaw’s AI Raises Security Concerns

Daniel Remler expressed his concerns regarding Chinese AI models on WorldClaw. He is a senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security.

Remler warned that Chinese AI models could expose users to possible government surveillance. He also raised concerns about malicious code that could interfere with or hijack independent AI agents.

According to WorldClaw, user information might be provided to the companies that create their models. This policy made the issues related to customer data protection even more relevant.

WorldClaw says it has more than 10,000 users and processes over 50 million requests each day. Reuters reported that lower prices for Chinese AI models have helped drive demand for the platform.

World Liberty Financial rejected claims that the relationship creates a conflict of interest. Company spokesman David Wachsman said WorldClaw operates as an independent business. He also noted that other major U.S. companies provide access to Chinese-built AI models.

WorldClaw also rejected the criticism. It said listing AI models does not mean endorsing their developers. The White House also denied any conflict of interest. However, outside experts continued to raise security and data concerns.
