Avalanche [AVAX] has broken above $7 after it failed in its attempts to clear the level this month.

The move comes as more traditional financial assets find their way onto Avalanche, with a new Delphi Consulting report putting their combined value at more than $3 billion, up significantly from $740 million last October.

Financial assets on Avalanche cross $3B

According to the report that was produced by Delphi Digital, one of the biggest additions that Avalanche saw was from Japan.

Progmat, which is Japan’s largest security-token platform, moved to a dedicated Avalanche network in June, bringing about $1.2 billion in tokenized securities with that move.

Other platforms have been growing too.

OpenTrade’s assets on the network have increased from about $60 million to $190 million, while Grove Finance is responsible for another $260 million through products linked to institutional credit.

Securitize is also working on a European platform that would use Avalanche to trade and settle tokenized securities, and it is expected to cover all 27 EU countries.

The figures matter because the activity isn’t concentrated in a single product. Securities, credit, and other financial assets are all represented, giving Avalanche a growing presence in the push to bring traditional finance onto blockchains.

But there is some context to keep in mind with the report.

Delphi Consulting produced it through a paid, fixed-fee engagement with Avalanche, but Delphi says its payment was not tied to the findings, although some of the information used in the study came from Avalanche itself.

AVAX gets past $7

AVAX was also having a stronger day in the market, according to its daily chart

The token saw a gain of 5.9% that moved its price to $7.175 on August 20, and it reached $7.317 at its highest point, with trade volume increasing during the move.

This is an important move because $7 has repeatedly acted as its ceiling throughout August, but buyers have finally pushed through it.

Staying above that level would allow AVAX to work its way towards the $8.60 area, where it previously saw heavier trading, and beyond that, $10 remains a much bigger test.

The breakout is still fresh, but AVAX has risen quickly, and falling back below $7 would put it back in the range that it has been unable to cross since June.

For now, the move gives buyers their first meaningful break above August resistance, and Avalanche’s growing financial-asset business provides another key development to watch.

Final Summary

  • AVAX gained 5.9% and finally broke through the $7 level that had capped its August recovery.
  • Tokenized assets on Avalanche have grown from about $740 million to more than $3 billion since October 2025.
