Ethereum (ETH) extended its recovery by reclaiming critical support and advancing through renewed buying pressure for the Ethereum price. Market focus shifts to a key technical resistance that will determine whether the rally continues or stalls. Meanwhile, large holders have increased their ETH holdings, which shows greater interest in the future performance.
At the time of writing, ETH is trading at $2,443.79 with a 24-hour trading volume of $17.11 million and a market capitalization of $294.76 billion. Following the 1.34% gain over the last 24 hours, the Ethereum price structure and whale accumulation point to a bullish reversal ahead.

Ethereum Breakout Could Send It Toward $8,500
According to the crypto analyst JAVON MARK, the Ethereum price has extended its recovery after reclaiming a crucial post-breakout support zone, gaining approximately 55% from that level.
The move indicates renewed buying pressure and suggests bulls are attempting to build a stronger upward structure. Attention is now shifting toward the next major resistance, where Ethereum could face its most important technical test

The important level is located at $4,811.71 and represents an accurate resistance level for the Ethereum price. A strong move past this resistance level will enhance the bulls’ optimism and may push Ethereum towards the $8,500 price level.
On the other hand, it needs to maintain its strength above the resistance in order to continue rising.
Ethereum Whales Accumulate $121M in ETH
The data from Lookonchain further highlighted that whales in Ethereum have been showing more accumulation activity lately, pulling millions of dollars in ETH out of Binance exchanges in multiple accounts.
Wallet address 0x2d59 just pulled out another 30,000 ETH, worth a total of $67.42 million. This brings their total three-week withdrawal amount to 120,000 ETH, which is worth a total of $237.7 million.

Further actions by whales support the accumulation theory. Withdrawal of 18,000 ETH, valued at $39.56 million, by Abraxas Capital and the creation of a new wallet, 0x2261, with the withdrawal of 6,704 ETH, valued at $14 million, from Binance are some of the recent activities. In total, recent transactions amount to over 54,700 ETH valued at $121 million.
What Comes Next for Ethereum?
The Ethereum price’s next step is contingent upon whether it can break out above the $4,811 level. The possibility of a breakout would boost the upside momentum, with the $8,500 level being in sight.
On the other hand, a breakdown would bring about consolidation or further sell-off action. The ongoing buying activity by whales and flows out of exchanges might help Ethereum.
