Polkadot (DOT) is showing a potential bullish reversal as an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern develops. Meanwhile, network activity has increased, although actual usage remains limited. Sustained growth in transactions, users, and applications could strengthen the long-term outlook for DOT.
At the time of writing, DOT is trading at $0.8759 with a 24-hour trading volume of $122.89 billion and a market capitalization of $1.48 billion. Following the 4.74% gain over the last 24 hours, the DOT price structure and network growth point to a bullish reversal ahead.

DOT Price Targets $1.38 After Key Bullish Setup
According to the crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal, Polkadot (DOT) is showing signs of a potential bullish reversal as an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern develops on the 4-hour chart.
DOT is currently holding near $0.855, while the right shoulder continues to form. The setup suggests buyers may be building momentum ahead of a potential breakout attempt.

The most important level to watch out for would be the neckline at the $1.05 price level. Breaking through this neckline could signify a successful breakout in the formation, thus favoring the bulls with a possible target at around the $1.38 mark. Failure to breach the neckline could mean continued consolidation in DOT.
Polkadot Sees 40% Activity Surge Despite Low TPS
The data from Chainspect further highlighted that activity in the Polkadot network witnessed a huge spike in just one day by 40 percent, reaching a peak of 0.02 TPS (transactions per second) for the week.
Even though the increase in terms of percentage seems pretty high, the actual low number gives reason for thinking whether the increasing infrastructure reflects actual demand from users.

This development brings to light the constant struggle of Polkadot to turn the “Products for People” concept into reality.
While good tech and ecosystem development might work well enough on their own, a lack of people using the platform could negate any progress made thus far. With DOT, seeing an increase in transactions, active addresses, and applications could indicate real growth.
What Comes Next?
Looking ahead, the next key step for DOT will hinge on the ability of the bulls to breakout and sustain trading above the neckline at $1.05.
This would see a bullish confirmation of the inverse head-and-shoulder formation and an objective at $1.38, while a failed attempt would see DOT trade within its range and expose the support level at $0.855.
