This feature transforms user chat narratives into fully illustrated multi-page comics, marking another step in the company’s pursuit of fan-driven, connected entertainment.
The announcement, made on September 2, highlights the broader vision of Character.AI to create a seamless ecosystem where fans can move between Microdramas, interactive chats, novels, and visual media. (c.ai) Comics allows users to generate comics from their chat interactions with AI Characters or create unique stories from scratch by casting their own Characters and writing the premises. It’s a premium feature powered by the platform’s in-app currency, Charms.

The tool takes recent chats and converts them into story-driven panel designs, offering consistent character artwork, plot-driven pacing, and customizable visual styles.
