  • XRP must break $1.3713 to target $1.3833 and the $1.43–$1.45 price gap
  • US spot XRP ETFs ended an 11-day inflow streak with a $7.20 million outflow
  • Binance reserves have fallen by about 500 million XRP since November 2025

XRP price prediction for September 4 targets $1.3833 if buyers hold the current triangle support. A break below $1.3293 could send XRP toward $1.3087.

XRP Price Analysis: Triangle Nears Its Breakout Point

XRP trades near $1.3623 after slipping 0.21% on the four-hour chart. Price sits close to the 20-period EMA at $1.3632, while the 50-period EMA at $1.3713 limits the recovery.

A falling trendline from the August 22 high near $1.70 is meeting a rising trendline from the August 29 low near $1.30. XRP is now trading where those lines meet, leaving little room for the pattern to continue without a breakout.

A move above $1.3713 would bring the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $1.3833 into view. The next target sits between $1.43 and $1.45, an area left untested after the August rally.

If XRP breaks lower, the 100-period EMA at $1.3293 becomes the first support. The next level sits at $1.3087.

XRP ETFs End 11-Day Inflow Streak

US spot XRP ETFs recorded a $7.20 million net outflow on September 2, ending an 11-day run of consecutive inflows that began August 18, according to SoSoValue. That streak included $28.14 million on August 26, $26.20 million on August 28, and $14.38 million as recently as September 1.

Bitwise’s XRP fund drove most of both the inflow run and Tuesday’s reversal, holding $483.64 million in net assets against $596.36 million in cumulative inflows since launch. Across all five listed XRP ETFs, cumulative net inflows total $1.68 billion, with $27.22 million in shares changing hands on September 2.

Binance’s XRP Reserves Fall to Lowest Since February 2024

Binance’s average XRP reserves have dropped to levels last seen in February 2024, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost told BSCN, with reserves falling from 3.1 billion to 2.6 billion XRP since November 2025, a decline of roughly 500 million XRP leaving the exchange over that period.

Darkfost said the outflow trend has continued even as XRP trades 63% below its $3.66 peak, and reads it as long-term accumulation rather than sellers positioning to exit.

Coinglass exchange netflow data supports that reading, with outflow days far outnumbering inflow days since November 2025, though September 3 itself printed a modest net inflow of $2.94 million.

XRP Derivatives: Longs Take the Hit as the Bounce Fades

XRP derivatives volume edged down 0.80% to $3.89 billion over the past 24 hours, while open interest increased 1.42% to $3.07 billion. Traders continued opening positions despite slightly lower turnover. Options volume more than doubled to $6.87 million, although it rose from a relatively small base.

Long traders took most of the damage as XRP retreated from its session high of $1.3788. Long liquidations reached $3.74 million over 24 hours, compared with $2.24 million for shorts. Longs also accounted for $14,090 of the $14,230 liquidated in the latest hour. Meanwhile, Binance and OKX long-short ratios of 2.39 and 2.43 show traders remain heavily tilted long, leaving XRP exposed to further liquidations if resistance holds.

Metric Value What it shows
Derivatives volume (24h) $3.89B, down 0.80% Trading activity roughly steady
Open interest $3.07B, up 1.42% Traders adding positions despite the pullback
Binance long/short ratio 2.39 Positioning still heavily long
1h long liquidations $14.09K of $14.23K total Longs absorbed nearly the entire hour’s liquidations

XRP Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for September 4

Bullish Case, Target: $1.3833

XRP holds the $1.3632 EMA20 and trendline apex through the session and reclaims $1.3713, which opens the 0.5 Fib at $1.3833 and puts the $1.43 to $1.45 fair value gap in range if momentum carries through.

Bearish Case, Risk Level: $1.3087 (0.618 Fib)

XRP breaks down through the wedge apex and loses $1.3293, exposing the 0.618 retracement at $1.3087 and raising the question of whether Tuesday’s ETF outflow marks the start of a broader shift in fund flows rather than a single-day pause.

Expert Insight

The 500 million XRP withdrawn from Binance looks bullish, but it does not guarantee an immediate rally. Open interest is climbing and Binance and OKX both show more than twice as many long accounts as short accounts. If XRP repeatedly stalls at $1.3713, those crowded longs could become forced sellers before the lower exchange supply has any effect.

Beginners should also stop treating every ETF outflow as a change in trend. The $7.20 million withdrawal represents less than half a percent of the $1.68 billion brought in since launch. Watch what happens next: repeated outflows combined with a break below $1.3293 would matter. One negative session while support holds is mostly noise.
