Cardano traded sideways Thursday as traders assessed whether ADA can build enough momentum for a sustained recovery.
While price action remains subdued, sentiment around Cardano appears considerably stronger, with its community ranking among the most bullish on CoinMarketCap.
According to a post shared by Angry Crypto Show, CoinMarketCap ranked Cardano as the ninth-most bullish community by sentiment. The ranking highlights continued optimism among ADA supporters even as the token remains well below $1.
The community optimism provides a potentially supportive backdrop for ADA, but sentiment alone does not guarantee a major price breakout. For Cardano to move toward $1, bullish conviction would need to translate into sustained spot buying, stronger liquidity, and broader demand across the altcoin market.

Notably, over the past week, ADA has increased by nearly 1%, reflecting a modest improvement rather than a decisive breakout. The sideways trading suggests buyers have yet to establish enough control to push the token into a stronger uptrend.
Recent developments could also support Cardano’s longer-term growth. The network has continued to expand its ecosystem, while efforts to improve DeFi liquidity could attract more activity. CoinMarketCap has also highlighted Cardano’s recently approved treasury-backed DeFi initiative as a potential catalyst for ecosystem growth.
Meanwhile, popular analyst Ali Martinez noted Cardano had reached his $0.2 target and that he was turning bullish on ADA. He pointed to a daily TD Sequential buy signal, which can indicate a potential reversal after a period of weakness.
A move to $1 would require considerably more than a bullish community ranking. From current levels around $0.17-$0.22, ADA would need to rise by more than 450% to reach $1, meaning sustained demand would have to emerge across several stages.
That said, bulls would likely need to hold $0.20, followed by stronger resistance zones above it. Continued growth in Cardano’s DeFi ecosystem, deeper liquidity, increased network usage, and a favorable broader crypto environment could help strengthen the case for higher valuations.
At the time of writing, ADA was trading at $0.22, up 7.51% over the past 24 hours.
