Circle (CRCL) stock hovered at $99 on Tuesday ahead of major key U.S. economic events.
Early trading pushed CRCL below $100 before a stabilization attempt. However, shares stayed near session lows, revealing weak demand around that psychological level.
The total cryptocurrency market fell 0.99% to $2.67 trillion over 24 hours. Bitcoin slipped below $79,000, while Ethereum dropped under $2,500. XRP hovered near $1.38 as risk appetite weakened.
Initial Jobless Claims Could Shape CRCL Stock Momentum
Investors await the September 10 jobless claims report for a signal on employment. Economists expect 205,000 new claims, slightly below the previous 206,000 reading.
A lower figure would signal limited layoffs and labor resilience. That could support the dollar and expectations for tighter monetary policy.
Higher claims may signal weaker employment and ease pressure on Federal Reserve officials. However, an unusually weak result could deepen concerns about economic growth.

Thursday’s PPI offers another major inflation test. A hotter reading could raise September rate increase expectations.
Circle remains sensitive to both monetary policy and cryptocurrency activity. Higher rates can lift income from USDC reserves, although risk aversion may reduce market participation.
CLARITY Act Vote and Fed Meeting Could Increase CRCL Volatility
The Senate returns September 14, placing digital asset regulation back in focus. A cloture vote follows at 2:15 p.m. ET on September 15.
The measure needs 60 votes to advance toward a full floor debate. It previously cleared the House but faces a difficult path through the Senate.
The 309-page bill would establish lasting jurisdictional boundaries between the SEC and CFTC. It would also provide clearer requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges and token issuers.
Prediction market confidence has weakened sharply. Polymarket placed the bill’s 2026 passage odds at 16% on September 8, down from 82% in February.

A successful vote could improve sentiment around Circle, while another setback may pressure crypto-linked shares.
The Federal Open Market Committee meets September 15 and 16. Its policy statement arrives September 16, shortly after the Senate’s scheduled vote.
Officials must decide whether to hold rates steady or approve a 25-basis-point increase. Incoming inflation and employment figures could influence that decision.
CRCL Stock Prediction: Will Circle Surge to $110?
CRCL stock must first recover $100 to improve its near-term structure. A sustained rebound could then challenge the September 4 closing price of $102.05.
Next resistance sits between $103 and $105. Clearing that zone could strengthen momentum and expose targets near $107 and $110.
Downside risks remain significant while shares trade below $100. There are immediate support levels around $99, then $98 and $97.

If the price level breaks below them, the pullback could continue. On the other hand, positive labor data, regulatory developments and crypto bull market sentiment will be able to boost recovery.
The $110 level is still viable, but only if Circle stock can resume buying pressure in the area of resistance.
