Useless Coin [USELESS] retraced part of its extraordinary 529% monthly price advance, plunging 20% in 24 hours as derivatives deleveraging sharply intensified selling pressure.
The price correction came after an exceptional monthly rally, placing the ongoing decline within a broader price advance.
Trading volume also experienced a decline of 13.65% to $157.63 million as USELESS pulled back from recent highs.
Despite the pullback, USELESS still retained considerable gains from its 529% monthly price expansion.
Open Interest collapse confirms leverage flush
During the price retracement, the Open Interest also dropped 28.46% to $115.29 million, reflecting considerable position closures as USELESS extended its correction.
Besides, the derivatives volume had also declined 13.34% to $1.04 billion at the time of press.
Notably, the Open Interest fell faster than the volume, showing aggressive exposure reductions rather than declining market participation alone.
Furthermore, the total 24-hour liquidations reached $2.75 million, with longs accounting for $1.53 million against short liquidations at $1.22 million. This consequently left the bullish positions with greater losses.
Meanwhile, the Binance top-trader positions held a slightly long bias at 1.0787. Further deleveraging, therefore, could extend volatility, although reduced leverage could eventually create a healthier derivatives structure.

USELESS Spot inflows increase the supply challenge
Furthermore, the Spot activity introduced additional supply pressure as the derivatives participants reduced exposure. At the time of reporting, USELESS had recorded approximately $5.09 million in inflows versus $4.29 million in outflows.
The divergence resulted in a positive netfllow of around $780.88K, implying the exchange inflows exceeded outflows during the observed period. Hence, there was an increase in the exchange-side supply as well while the price faced pressure from derivatives deleveraging.
Notably, the recent flow readings also fluctuated drastically between inflow dominance and outflow dominance. Generally, persistent positive netflows could reinforce the selling pressure, while renewed outflows would potentially support price stabilization.

Can the demand zone counter the sellers?
On the 24-hour timeframe chart, USELESS price retreated towards the broader $0.19109–$0.235 demand zone after facing a rejection at the $0.32881–$0.33665 supply region.
At the time of analysis, USELESS traded around $0.23026, placing buyers directly against a significant technical structural test.
On the technical indicators’ side, the RSI fell to 46.37, below its 57.92 average, highlighting a weaker buying strength after the previous rally. Additionally, the Parabolic SAR also sat above price near $0.32881, maintaining a bearish price outlook.
However, a strong defense of the demand zone could support another price recovery attempt toward the $0.27522 zone. A successful reclaim of this resistance would strengthen the possibility for another challenge of the $0.32881–$0.33665 higher price zone.
A break below the $0.19109 support level, however, would instead weaken the recovery attempt and expose USELESS to a deeper price retracement.

Final Summary
- USELESS has surrendered part of its 529% rally as leveraged traders reduce exposure.
- Strongly preserving the demand zone could reopen at $0.27522 despite increased exchange-side supply.
