There are two Money in the Bank qualifiers so far, Sol Ruca and Bron Breakker. They punched their tickets with wins on Raw.
Friday’s episode of WWE Smackdown in Mexico City was eventful, but it didn’t have any MITB qualifying matches. We did see Sami Zayn regain the WWE Championship and Damian Priest turn on R-Truth, but no official new qualifiers. Trick Williams announced he has intentions on entering the MITB match, but shortly after, he and Lil Yachty were attacked by Baron Corbin, so it remains to be seen if he will get one of the slots. Here’s everything we know about the card. Let’s talk wrestling.

|---|---|---|
| Bron Breakker | Men’s | Beat Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page in a triple threat on the September 7 Raw |
| Sol Ruca | Women’s | Beat Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri in a triple threat on the same show |
Both qualifiers came out of triple threats on the September 7 Raw from Legacy Arena in Birmingham. Breakker finished Page with a frankensteiner and then speared Mysterio. Ruca advanced after a returning Bayley interfered in the closing sequence. WWE’s promotional poster for the event features Trick Williams alongside Ruca, Iyo Sky and Penta, which is worth noting given Williams has not qualified for anything yet.
There’s five slots left in the men and women’s matches. On Monday, these six Superstars will have their shot at qualifying for the MITB match.
- Men’s Qualifier: Big Cass vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Austin Theory
- Women’s Qualifier: Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Raquel Rodriguez
If I had to guess, Je’Von Evans and Raquel Rodriguez will win. There’s built-in stories for Rodriguez if she became Ms. Money in the Bank. Any of the three men could win and it would align well, but Theory has won before and he previously cashed in on Seth Rollins to become the U.S. champion. It’s the only time a MITB winner has used their cash-in on a mid-card title.
Would WWE put the briefcase on him again? Maybe. Big Cass is getting a decent push, but it doesn’t appear as though he has enough momentum to become Mr. MITB by next month. That leaves Evans, whose cash-in could be memorable.
