Solana rebounded to above $100 after an earlier dip this week, with a short-term death cross highlighting recent weakness.
SOL declined for four consecutive days from September 7 to 10, 2026 amid the wider crypto market’s decline. During the decline, a death cross formed on the 2-hour chart with the MA 50 falling below the MA 200.
However, a sharp rebound on Friday took bears who had expected a further drop by surprise, as SOL price sharply rose, defying the short-term death cross.
As seen on the 2-hour chart, Solana rose on September 11, 2026 rising from $98 to $104, producing a massive green candlestick shortly after the death cross emerged.
Solana created its first major golden cross in 2026 on the daily chart at the start of September 2026, eliciting hopes of an extended rebound, but the price consolidated shortly after a breakout in mid-August.
At the time of writing, SOL was down 1.15% in the last 24 hours to $101.98 and 0.87% weekly.
The next resistance is at $110, while major support is expected at $83 and $87 in the event of a price drop.
