Engineering News Record (ENR) history that can be traced back to 1874. The publication has its roots in two separate publications, Engineer & Surveyor and The Plumber and Sanitary Engineer. The first issue of Engineering News-Record was published on April 5, 1917. On January 1st, 1987, the acronym ENR was adopted as the title of the bi-weekly magazine. The charts that follow use data that are courtesy of ENR magazine that is published 26 times a year. Historical data was pulled from microfiche copies of the magazine obtained from the New York Public Library. The ENR 20-City Average Price of 36”x96” Aluminum Sheet has risen to a new high of 460.06 MOM and is up 19.36% YTD.
I Beams
The ENR 20-City Average Price of 6” Deep I Beams is up 19.73% YTD reaching a new high of 162.15 this month.
Concrete Sand
The ENR 20-City Average Price of Concrete Sand has “spiked” higher to 41.10 per ton and is up 10.51% YTD.
Copper Water Tubing
The ENR 2-City Average Price 0f 1 1/2” Copper Water Tubing has been rising steadily since 2020 and “notched” an all-time high at 19.10 this month up 12.42% YTD.
