Hedera’s HBAR has gained more than 20% in 24 hours, briefly touching $0.1306 before pulling back toward $0.118 as heavy trading accompanied the token’s strongest late-September breakout.
Summary
- HBAR jumped over 20% as daily trading volume climbed above $1.4 billion during Tuesday trading.
- HBAR reached $0.1306 before retreating toward $0.118, leaving the token below its session high afterward.
- IDTrust is now available through IBM Cloud Catalog as a Hedera-based identity product for enterprises.
- NVIDIA launched its AI agent safety platform, but its announcement did not mention Hedera integration.
- Analyst Crypto Patel sees $0.15 as the first upside target, with $0.07 invalidating his setup.
CoinGecko shows HBAR trading around $0.1178 at the latest reading, up roughly 20% over the previous 24 hours, with a daily range between $0.09629 and $0.1306. Trading volume stood near $1.47 billion against a market capitalization of approximately $5.16 billion.
The move has coincided with fresh enterprise news around Hedera, including the listing of The Hashgraph Group’s IDTrust platform on IBM Cloud Catalog and Hedera’s contribution of a cross-ledger protocol to Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust.
NVIDIA unveiled a separate AI-agent security platform on Sept. 28, adding attention to the same agent-security theme. Its announcement, however, does not identify Hedera, IDTrust or The Hashgraph Group as participants.
Why is HBAR price rising today?
HBAR spent much of the previous week below $0.10 before buyers pushed it sharply through that level and toward $0.13. CoinGecko data show the token was trading near $0.0905 on Sept. 23, placing the latest move well above its recent consolidation range.
One confirmed development came from The Hashgraph Group, a Swiss company that develops enterprise products using Hedera. The company announced on Sept. 23 that its IDTrust self-sovereign identity platform had been validated and listed on IBM Cloud Catalog.
IBM’s own marketplace lists IDTrust as a third-party blockchain product provided by The Hashgraph Group for AI agents, connected devices and people.
The product uses decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials anchored on Hedera. The Hashgraph Group describes its use case as “Know Your Agent,” or KYA, designed to let organizations verify whether autonomous software is authorized to act for a person or business.
In related coverage, Hedera-based IDTrust reached IBM Cloud Catalog for enterprise AI-agent identity, giving IBM customers a route to access the platform through an existing enterprise marketplace.
The Hashgraph Group said it had qualified for IBM Silver Partner status and signed a global Embedded Solution Agreement covering IBM cloud and AI technology. The announcement did not disclose customer numbers, contract values, expected network transactions or HBAR revenue tied to the marketplace listing.
Can HBAR hold above $0.115 after the rally?
The daily chart shows HBAR breaking out from the 0.08–0.10 region before reaching close to $0.13. Price has since retreated but remains above the range that contained much of its recent trading.
Bollinger Bands have widened sharply as volatility increased. The upper band sits near $0.1151, while the middle band is around $0.0874. HBAR trading near or above the upper band shows how far price moved from its recent average during the rally.

Momentum is elevated as well. The Relative Strength Index stands near 74.28, above the commonly watched 70 overbought threshold and above its moving average around 65.71.
An RSI above 70 does not by itself mean a reversal will follow. In the current chart, it shows the speed of the latest move while indicating that HBAR has entered territory where short-term pullbacks or sideways trading can occur.
The first visible resistance remains between $0.12 and $0.13, where HBAR failed to maintain its intraday high. Nearby support sits around the upper Bollinger Band near $0.115, followed by the former breakout area around $0.10 if selling deepens.
CoinGecko’s current figures put HBAR roughly 9% below its $0.1306 session high while still more than 20% above the previous 24-hour low.
Could HBAR price reach $0.15 next?
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel has presented a more aggressive technical scenario after HBAR reclaimed the 0.092–0.118 region.
Patel said his setup places $0.15 as the first upside target, followed by $0.21, $0.33 and eventually $1 if the higher-time-frame structure continues. He identified $0.07 as the level that would invalidate the bullish scenario.
The $1 projection remains an analyst target, not a confirmed price outcome. It would require a move of several hundred percent from current levels, while HBAR first needs to hold its recent breakout and overcome the selling that appeared around $0.13.
Patel had previously identified the 0.07–0.10 region as a higher-time-frame accumulation area. His earlier analysis described a move above descending resistance as necessary before a larger expansion scenario could develop.
HBAR’s latest move has now taken price through much of that zone, although the pullback from $0.1306 shows buyers have yet to establish sustained trading above $0.13.
Institutional access to HBAR already extends beyond spot exchanges. In related coverage, Canary Capital’s U.S. spot HBAR ETF held $47.8 million in assets in July after beginning Nasdaq trading in October 2025.
Hedera adds enterprise projects beyond IBM
Another Hedera-linked announcement arrived on Sept. 24 when Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust introduced CLPR, pronounced “clipper,” as a new open-source lab contributed by Hedera and developed by the Hashgraph team.
Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust said CLPR is a bridgeless cross-ledger messaging protocol that uses state proofs so independent blockchain networks can verify each other without intermediary validator networks.
The organization said applications built on CLPR can move data, messages and assets between ledgers without relying on pooled liquidity or conventional blockchain bridges. No token-specific revenue or HBAR demand forecast accompanied the announcement.
One day before HBAR’s latest price surge, NVIDIA launched its Open Agent Safety Platform, combining OpenShell software with its Sentry reference architecture for monitoring autonomous agents.
NVIDIA said more than 100 companies and organizations were participating across the initiative’s technologies. Its named ecosystem includes firms such as Microsoft, JPMorganChase, Salesforce, Cisco and Red Hat.
IBM participates in the safety initiative, but NVIDIA’s release does not mention Hedera, HBAR, The Hashgraph Group or IDTrust. The NVIDIA launch therefore cannot be described as a Hedera partnership or integration based on the available official material.
For HBAR traders, the immediate chart remains centered on whether price can hold the 0.115–0.118 area after the sharp breakout. A renewed move above $0.13 would retest the session high, while a sustained break below $0.115 would expose the former $0.10 breakout region.
