Altseason Builds: XRP, ADA & SOL Enter Rotation Zone

The market is edging out of a Bitcoin-led phase and into something broader. Across dominance, spot share, exchange activity, and the Altcoin Season Index, capital is starting to treat alts as the active trade again — with XRP, Cardano, and Solana sitting in the middle of that shift.

The macro tell: altseason is warming, not finished

CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index has climbed to 61, up sharply from the Bitcoin-season depths of late summer. Readings above 75 are the classic “altcoin season” threshold; 61 is the intermediate zone where rotation is real, but not yet euphoric.

That matches the Glassnode spot picture. The ratio of total spot volume to Bitcoin spot volume has pushed back toward the high-3x to 4x range, with the latest print circled in the more alt-heavy part of the scale. When that ratio rises, traders are spending more relative firepower outside BTC.

Leverage is moving the same way. Coinalyze’s open-interest dominance chart shows Bitcoin’s share fading while “Others” — the alt basket — expands toward the high-30% to 40% area. That is not a retail-only meme spike. It is derivatives positioning spreading into the wider market.

CryptoQuant’s exchange-inflow transaction count adds a behavioral layer. Seven-day cumulative altcoin inflows have picked up again, especially through Binance, as Bitcoin price stabilized in the higher range.

Rising alt inflows can mean preparation to sell — or preparation to trade. In a rising ASI environment, the market usually reads it as liquidity returning to the alt complex.

XRP: reclaiming structure while alts wake up

The XRP daily chart is one of the cleaner large-cap expressions of the shift.

Price is holding around $1.53, back above the clustered 50 / 100 / 200 EMAs after the summer washout. RSI sits near 59.5, constructive without being overbought. Overhead levels remain obvious: $1.54, then $1.82, with higher supply marked near $2.42 and $2.70.

In an emerging altseason tape, XRP’s role is familiar. It tends to benefit when liquidity rotates into large, liquid non-BTC names with strong narrative followings.

The chart does not yet show a full breakout through the upper resistance stack, but it does show something more important for this phase: XRP is no longer pinned under its major moving averages while alt participation rises.

Cardano and Solana: high-beta beneficiaries of the same rotation

Cardano and Solana are not on the uploaded price panes, but they sit directly in the path of the flows those panes describe.

When open interest leaves BTC and migrates into “Others,” SOL is usually one of the first large-cap destinations because of depth, ETF/institutional attention, and perpetual-market liquidity.

ADA often follows as a second-wave large-cap beta name when traders widen from the top of the alt stack into the next tier of established L1s.

The Glassnode spot-share expansion supports that path. A rising total-to-BTC volume ratio historically favors chains with active ecosystems and heavy exchange coverage — exactly the group Solana and Cardano belong to. The Altcoin Season Index at 61 also fits: early-to-mid rotation often lifts the liquid L1 complex before thinner memes dominate.

What the five charts say together

Signal Current read
Altcoin Season Index 61 — rotation active, not peak mania
Spot volume vs BTC Rising toward alt-heavy territory
OI dominance BTC share down, “Others” up
Alt exchange inflows Picking up again
XRP daily Above key EMAs, RSI neutral-bullish

This is not a finished altseason catching its breath. It is the stage where large-cap alts start to matter again.

The clean takeaway

The market is no longer purely Bitcoin’s game. Spot share, open interest, and the season index are all leaning toward alts, while XRP has already reclaimed a more constructive daily structure.

Solana and Cardano are positioned to benefit from the same liquidity shift if the index keeps pressing toward the 75 zone.

For now, the setup favors selective large-cap alt strength over blind meme chasing. XRP is showing the chart repair. Solana and Cardano are the natural liquidity magnets if this rotation continues.
