Price Levels and Catalysts

XRP pulled back from near $1.50 earlier this week and fell below two support levels. It bounced from $1.35 but could not get back to $1.40.

The Relative Strength Index sits at 36, above the oversold level of 30. The MACD shows bearish momentum fading, though no bullish cross has formed.

Analyst ChartNerd posted that $5 to $8 for XRP is “more than achievable,” pointing followers to a full price breakdown.

Analyst EGRAG Crypto marks $1.41, $1.37 and the $1.32 to $1.27 zone as downside areas. A sustained loss of $1.35 could open the way to $1.30.

On the upside, a four-hour hold above $1.40 would put $1.45 in play, then $1.50. Resistance sits at $1.4711 and $1.4850, with $1.6238 above that. Key support is at $1.2659.

Ripple now earns prime brokerage fees on leveraged equity trades following its $1.25 billion Hidden Road acquisition. The XRP Ledger’s Batch amendment vote is also scheduled, and it would let multiple transactions be bundled together.

XRP’s market cap is $88.14 billion, ranked fifth, with $3.02 billion in 24-hour volume. Perpetual futures open interest is $4.58 billion.

XRP is down 50.3% over one year but only 1.8% over 30 days. As of October 9, it traded near $1.40.
