SUI opened near $1.127, reached an intraday high of about $1.138 and dipped to roughly $1.109. It has climbed from around $0.68 in September, briefly reaching the $1.25-$1.30 area before sellers stepped in.

Short-term momentum has cooled after September’s rally. SUI has also broken below the steep rising trendline that guided that move.

Samsung and AI Investment Add to Sui News

On Oct. 8, Samsung said it would integrate USDC on Sui into Samsung Wallet. The move is expected to give about 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices access to Sui-based USDC.

On Oct. 12, the Sui Foundation announced a $30 million investment in DATA Network. The AI training-data protocol is moving its infrastructure onto Sui and Walrus.

DATA Network’s independent blockchain will eventually be retired as the project becomes native to the Sui ecosystem. The deal gives Sui a footing in AI-related data infrastructure.

Analyst Ali Charts pointed to a possible shift in momentum. He said the SuperTrend indicator flashed a buy signal on SUI’s 4-hour chart, suggesting a new leg higher could be near.

He added that the last time a similar signal appeared, SUI rallied 77.53%.

Hashi and ETF Activity

Hashi, Sui’s Bitcoin finance network, is preparing a phased mainnet rollout this month. It has more than $500 million in committed capital.

Bitcoin deposited into Hashi can be represented as hBTC on Sui. It can be used in lending, borrowing and structured products.

Anchorage Digital has joined more than 20 launch partners. Others include BitGo, FalconX, Cumberland and Ledger.

Sui also reported that its network demonstrated 40 million transactions per second in verified testing. That tops its previous record of 6 million.

The 21Shares Sui Staking ETF (TSUI) held roughly $30 million in assets in early October. It saw about $6 million in net flows over the previous month, and paid a $0.052939-per-share staking distribution at the end of September.

Chart Analysis

The daily chart shows support around $0.96-$1.00, a former resistance zone that held after the September breakout. Below that, another demand area sits near $0.78-$0.83. The daily RSI is 56.68, above the neutral 50 level. The MACD line is near 0.0552, below its signal line at 0.0749, with the histogram at about -0.0197.

On the upside, bulls first need to reclaim $1.18-$1.20, followed by the recent highs at $1.27-$1.30. The larger $1.32-$1.40 resistance zone sits beyond that. The level to watch next is $1.10, which would keep the current rebound intact if it holds.
