TRON’s [TRX] steady growth in stablecoins is translating into higher payment activity, with the network processing $2.21 trillion in transactions through Q3 2026. The growing supply of Tether [USDT] and USDD was responsible for much of this activity.
This was a 5.5% increase from the previous quarter to a total of $93.88 billion. Average daily stablecoin volume was up by 3.9% to $24.05 billion. This indicates continued demand for dollar-based transfers.
The activity coincided with an increase in monthly active user accounts, which rose 9.8% to 18 million.

Meanwhile, TRON’s cumulative transaction volume has exceeded $30 trillion. Now, further growth will depend on continued use. However, simply high transaction volume does not prove long-term acceptance or profitability.
TRON’s stablecoin payment demand
TRON’s expanding stablecoin supply is seeing consistent movement. The continued increase in supply suggests growing use across digital payments. USDT, which currently represents nearly 98% of TRON’s stablecoin base at approximately $93.1 billion out of $95.2 billion.
Therefore, it has a considerable impact on the volume of transfers executed within TRON.
Average daily transfer volume of USDT over the last 30 days stood at $24 billion. Daily transfer volumes fluctuated from as low as $10 billion to as high as $32 billion.
Furthermore, over 1 million user accounts are initiating new transfers every day and generate up to 2.5 million new events per day.

This repeated circulation supports activity across exchanges, remittances, and merchant payments. Sustained usage would strengthen its position in stablecoin payments and confirm demand beyond idle balances.
TRON adds $633.6M in stablecoin supply
While TRON’s stablecoin activity reflects sustained transaction demand, its latest supply growth highlights where capital is flowing across blockchain networks.
TRON attracted $633.6 million stablecoins during a seven-day period. This is considerably higher than the influx of $64 million for OP Mainnet.
Therefore, this gap suggests stablecoin issuers continue to prefer using the token as a platform to deploy their stablecoins due to nearly 98% of TRON’s stablecoin holdings being in USDT form.

Such concentration could reinforce TRON’s liquidity advantage over competing networks, supporting its appeal to exchanges and payment providers. However, one week of inflows cannot confirm a lasting trend.
Continued gains relative to rival networks would strengthen evidence of capital preference, while slower growth could signal a temporary shift.
Final Summary
-
TRON settled $2.21 trillion in stablecoins during Q3 2026, with daily USDT transfers averaging $24 billion.
-
TRX added $554.9 million in stablecoin supply in one week, outpacing OP Mainnet’s $64 million.
