NVIDIA said GeForce NOW now supports DLSS 4.5 controls, while Enshrouded and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 arrive at launch.
NVIDIA said on Thursday that GeForce NOW members can now use DLSS 4.5 controls in supported cloud-streamed games, adding tuning options for image quality and responsiveness as the service expands its weekly library with new releases, including Enshrouded 1.0 and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2.
DLSS 4.5 controls reach GeForce NOW
In a post published Oct. 15, 2026, NVIDIA said the new controls are available in the GeForce NOW app under settings on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Steam OS platforms. The company said the options let members adjust supported games for image quality, responsiveness or a balance between the two. NVIDIA described DLSS Super Resolution as sharpening image quality, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation as lowering latency and reducing stutter, and Ray Reconstruction as improving ray-traced visuals.
NVIDIA also said Ultimate members streaming on GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs can access the highest available options, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X. The post did not provide independent performance data, and the availability of individual settings remains dependent on supported games, hardware and software.
Launch-day streaming for Enshrouded and Boltgun 2
The company said Enshrouded 1.0 is available on GeForce NOW at launch across supported devices as the co-op survival action role-playing game leaves early access. NVIDIA said the release adds nine new spells, new mage and archer skills, reworked wands, upgradeable Eternal spells and arrows, new enemy variants, a new biome, a level cap of 50 and an equipment cap of 55. It also said the cloud version skips a 60GB local install.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is also streaming on GeForce NOW at launch, according to NVIDIA. The company said the sequel follows the original game with a branching single-player campaign, playable characters Malum Caedo and Nyra Veyrath, and new enemy types across settings including hive cities and jungle mangrove swamps.
More games and related DLSS updates
NVIDIA listed 10 games joining GeForce NOW this week, including Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition, Valor Mortis, Among the Trolls, over the hill, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, Beyond These Stars, Tenebris Somnia and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered. The company said availability may vary because games are onboarded after release and added throughout the week.
The Oct. 15 post follows other DLSS 4.5-related updates this month. NVIDIA said on Oct. 13 it released a faster Performance Mode beta for DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation, Multi Frame Generation and Dynamic Frame Generation, and on Aug. 25 it launched second-generation transformer Ray Reconstruction for GeForce RTX GPUs. The company also said a new DLSS 5 model will debut in NBA 2K27 on Oct. 16, though that feature is separate from DLSS 4.5.
