The 30-day spread-out exchange volume of DeFi Llama reveals that a whopping $3.11 billion of the $4.16 billion on AVAX has gone through Pharaoh Exchange. This staggering share of around 75 percent illustrates how deeply concentrated liquidity has transformed the layer-1 ecosystem.

By DefiLlama’s 30-day volume, Pharaoh Exchange’s volume of $3.115 billion and AVAX’s $4.15 billion put Pharaoh at number one with $3.106 billion of 30-day volume. Network volume increased by 43.29 percent from the previous 30-day window, indicating an increasing momentum for AvVAX DeFi.

Leader Built on Concentrated Liquidity.

Pharaoh has liquidity from the V3 and DLMM pools, which are designed to allow LPs to focus their capital into specific ranges, rather than throughout the entire curve. This makes the capital more efficient, lowers slippage, and in turn can allow a very thin base of total value locked to generate billions of dollars in volume.

As DefiLlama, Pharaoh generated 30-day fees of $2.83 million and $2.75 million in revenue, making very good use of its volume to cash flow. Pharaoh’s design adopts the Uniswap v3 standard, which is quickly becoming the norm for Ethereum, Arbitrum, and now Solana.

On AVAX, it has been mostly effective for stablecoin and blue-chip pairs, where routing is driven by the quality of the execution. Its TVL is as low as $43 million to as high as $53 million, meaning its secret to success is efficiency, not size.

Record Performance Mirrors Ecosystem Recovery

The surge comes after a record month for Pharaoh, which processed around $2.866 billion in 30-day volume and collected about $2.48 million in fees, both all-time highs. Cumulative volume has exceeded $35 billion, and lifetime fees are now above $32 million. This performance reflects a broader rebound on AVAX. Weekly DEX volume reached $1.13 billion, the highest since March, while tokenized stock inflows totaled $131.2 million for the week ending September 25, 2026.

Stablecoin market capitalization on AVAX C-Chain was $933.9 million, and distributed asset value reached $1.80 billion. Competing platforms also saw gains, with Trader Joe V2.2 fees rising 208.29 percent daily and 173.91 percent weekly, indicating growth across the ecosystem. Migration from V2 to V3 is nearing completion and is scheduled to end on October 31 2026, which may consolidate liquidity. Implications for investors, developers, and institutions remain to be seen.

Liquidity Gains Versus Concentration Risks

For traders, Pharaohs scale means more granular liquidity and lower spreads but also concentration risk if issues arise at the venue. The increasing adoption of Pharaoh pools by developers supports composability but creates increased concentration risk. For institutional users, as volume increases, it will work as validation of utility, though they will monitor fee sustainability, incentives, and TVL stability.

For regulators, single-venue dominance does not change decentralised settlement but reflects traditional concentrated market dynamics and efficient execution, while for the industry the availability of a viable venue in a critically balancing risk/benefit scenario validates that market making is key to layer-1 competitiveness with Ethereum scaling and Solana. Incentive dependence and smart contract risk versus liquidity provider and user acceptance and price discovery benefits.

What’s Next for AVAXe DeFi?

The critical issue will be whether Pharaoh can support volume as incentives unwind and competitors can regain share with differentiated offerings. Avalanche will also need to support the developer activity, stablecoin liquidity, and cross-chain flow.

Provided weekly volumes remain over $1bn, the network will recover to become one of the leading DEX ecosystems. Investors should watch Pharaoh’s fee-to-market cap ratio, TVL direction, and Avalanche share versus larger chains.
