Helium has had a rough 2026. HNT opened the year near $1.38, sank to about $0.17 in August and traded at $0.4116 on October 19, 2026. The network underneath tells a different story: paid traffic keeps growing, and a governance vote in July started the biggest supply expansion in Helium’s history. That tension runs through every HNT price prediction below. CoinLore’s model sees anything from $0.1150to $1.58 by the end of 2026, while Coinarbitragebot expects HNT to average $1.62 in 2030. Forecasts this far apart are scenarios, not promises, and the comparison table shows exactly where each number comes from.

HNT Price Prediction: Comparing the Scenarios
The forecasts here come from three sites: CoinLore, Coinarbitragebot and MEXC. They work very differently. CoinLore and Coinarbitragebot run algorithmic models on price history, and CoinLore adds bear, base and bull cases for each year. MEXC simply grows today’s price by 5% a year, so its figures show what steady compounding would look like rather than what anyone expects. All values are in USD and are listed side by side, not averaged.
| Horizon | Source | Updated | Method | Forecast (USD) |
| End of 2026 | CoinLore | Oct 19, 2026 | Algorithmic model | $0.115 bear / $0.1917 base / $1.58 bull |
| End of 2026 | Coinarbitragebot | Oct 19, 2026 | Algorithmic model | $0.3827 min / $0.5388 avg / $0.7855 max |
| End of 2026 | MEXC | Oct 19, 2026 | 5% growth calculator | $0.4127 (starting price) |
| 2030 | CoinLore | Oct 19, 2026 | Scenario estimate | $0.5243 / $0.8738 / $4.28 |
| 2030 | Coinarbitragebot | Oct 19, 2026 | Algorithmic model | $0.9486 min / $1.62 avg / $2.39 max |
| 2030 | MEXC | Oct 19, 2026 | 5% growth calculator | $0.5016 |
| 2040 | CoinLore | Oct 19, 2026 | Scenario estimate | $3.99 / $6.65 / $18.99 |
| 2040 | MEXC | Oct 19, 2026 | 5% growth calculator | $0.8176 |
| 2050 | Coinarbitragebot | Oct 19, 2026 | Algorithmic model | $14.06 (highest prediction) |
| 2050 | MEXC | Oct 19, 2026 | 5% growth calculator | $1.33 |
So how high will Helium go? The most optimistic figure on the list is CoinLore’s $18.99 bull case for 2040, still about 65% below HNT’s 2021 record of $54.88. At the other end, CoinLore’s bear case has HNT finishing 2026 at $0.1150, below August’s low.
How to Read These HNT Scenarios
Three kinds of numbers show up in crypto forecasts, and they are not interchangeable. A provider model, like CoinLore’s CL-v4 Pro, feeds price history and indicators into a formula; it can be wrong, but it is reproducible. A growth calculator, such as MEXC’s 5% default, simply compounds today’s price by a rate the user picks, so it says nothing about Helium itself. An editorial conditional scenario, used sparingly below, states its assumptions (supply, adoption) and shows the market cap they imply. Each table row is one method’s output for one horizon, not analyst consensus.
Helium Price Prediction 2026
Helium’s price prediction for the end of 2026 ranges from a $0.1917 base case on CoinLore, with bear and bull cases of $0.115 and $1.58, to a $0.3827 to $0.7855 channel on Coinarbitragebot. These figures cover only the last ten weeks of the year. The rest of 2026 is already history: HNT opened near $1.38, peaked around $1.71 on January 2, and hit its low in mid-August ($0.1672 on August 14). A late-August rally lined up with a large retail Wi-Fi rollout in Celina, Texas.
Will Helium crypto go up from here? The upside case rests on paid traffic continuing to grow and HIP-150’s higher payouts pulling in more carrier offload. The downside case is supply: HIP-149 is minting roughly 196,000 HNT a day into a Nova Labs vault, which adds selling pressure if those tokens reach the market. Even the most bullish 2026 figure, $1.58, would leave HNT below where the year began.
Helium Price Prediction 2030
Coinarbitragebot expects HNT to average $1.62 in 2030 within a $0.9486 to $2.39 range, CoinLore’s base case is $0.8738, and MEXC’s 5% calculator lands at $0.5016. For HNT price prediction 2030, that means the models agree on a higher price than today but disagree on how much.
The catch is supply. Under HIP-149, about 141 million HNT are scheduled over 36 months starting August 2026, on top of regular HIP-20 emissions of 7.5 million a year until August 2027 and 3.75 million after that. As an illustration, if roughly 340 million HNT are outstanding by the end of 2030, CoinLore’s base case implies a market cap near $297 million and Coinarbitragebot’s average about $551 million, against $80.9 million on October 19, 2026. Reaching the upper end requires paid data usage to grow far beyond today’s level, since burning HNT for Data Credits is the main source of demand. If supply nearly doubles while usage stays flat, CoinLore’s $0.5243 bear case looks more realistic, or worse.
HNT Price Prediction 2040
Only two forecasts reach that far: CoinLore’s HNT price prediction 2040 runs from $3.99 to $18.99, with $6.65 in the middle, while MEXC’s 5% calculator gives $0.8176. The gap between them shows how little a single number means 14 years out.
Any 2040 figure rests on assumptions nobody can check today: whether carriers still pay Helium for offload, whether the token model survives more governance changes like HIP-149, and how much HNT exists once the supplement ends in 2029. CoinLore itself describes its long-term ranges as research scenarios that leave out regulatory and macroeconomic shocks. HNT has already fallen more than 99% from its 2021 high once, and wireless technology may look very different by 2040. Read this horizon as a test of assumptions, not a target.
Helium Price Prediction 2050
Coinarbitragebot’s highest HNT figure is $14.06 in 2050, and MEXC’s 5% calculator gives $1.33. Both are highly uncertain extrapolations, not forecasts anyone can test. Whether Helium still runs a paid carrier-offload network in 2050, and under what supply rules, matters far more than either number.
Helium (HNT) Overview
Helium is a decentralized wireless network: independent operators run Hotspots that carry traffic, and the network pays them in HNT. It serves two uses. The IoT network connects low-power LoRaWAN sensors and trackers, and the Mobile network provides Wi-Fi and 5G coverage that phone carriers use for mobile offload, moving subscribers’ data onto Helium Hotspots.
According to Helium’s documentation, the first HNT was emitted on July 29, 2019, on Helium’s own blockchain, and the network moved to Solana on April 18, 2023. Under HIP-138, rewards on both networks have been paid in HNT since January 2025, ending new IOT and MOBILE emissions. Messari counted 115,750 active Hotspots at the end of Q3 2025, and Helium cited over 130,000 in mid-2026. Both are deployment counts, not measures of paid traffic.
Helium Market Information Data
CoinGecko data, as of October 19, 2026:
| Metric | Value |
| Price | $0.4116 |
| Market cap | $80.92 million (rank #314) |
| 24h volume | $3.04 million |
| Circulating supply | 196.61 million HNT |
| Max supply (as listed) | 223 million HNT |
| All-time high | $54.88 (November 12, 2021) |
The listed 223 million cap predates HIP-149, which lifts the effective ceiling to roughly 347 million HNT.
What Does the Helium Price Depend On?
HNT’s value comes from a burn-and-mint loop. Anyone who wants to use the network burns HNT to create Data Credits, fixed at $0.00001 each and non-transferable. The flow runs one way: HNT is destroyed to make Data Credits, never the reverse. More paid traffic means more HNT burned, though a fee in dollars does not guarantee any particular price.
New HNT enters through emissions. Under HIP-20, issuance halves every two years; the August 1, 2025 halving cut it to 7.5 million HNT a year, and the next comes August 1, 2027. A halving reduces new issuance only. It does not shrink the supply already outstanding, which still grows unless burns outpace minting. Net emissions add another wrinkle: the protocol re-mints HNT equal to what was burned, up to 1,643.84 HNT per day, so small burns are largely recycled.
Since July 6, 2026, Proof-of-Coverage rewards have ended under HIP-149, and Hotspots earn only for carrying traffic, verified by off-chain oracles. These are network accounting functions; they are not Solana’s consensus and do not guarantee uptime.
| Factor | Dated evidence | Scenario impact |
| Paid usage | About $50,000 of HNT burned per day (Helium, October 2026) | Rising burns support the bull case |
| Supply | HIP-149 adds ~141M HNT over 36 months from August 2026 | Heavy dilution pressure through 2029 |
| Carrier deals | AT&T offload agreement (April 2025); Helium Mobile sale to Noble Mobile announced (June 2026) | Offload revenue matters more than subscriber counts |
| Liquidity | $3.04M 24h volume on October 19, 2026 | Thin markets amplify swings both ways |
| Market cycle | Bitcoin near $82,400 on October 19, 2026 (Investing.com) | Small caps tend to follow risk appetite |
Deployed Hotspot counts and Helium Mobile’s sign-ups (almost 600,000 cumulative by June 2026, including cancellations) describe reach, not paid usage. The traffic and burn figures are the better signals.
HNT USDT Price Technical Analysis
Investing.com’s Helium technical page labels the pair HNT/USD. On the Monthly timeframe, its summary reads Strong Sell: technical indicators show 0 buy, 1 neutral and 8 sell, and moving averages show 1 buy and 7 sell.
| Monthly reading | Value |
| RSI(14) | 34.986 (Sell) |
| MACD(12,26) | -0.923 (Sell) |
| ADX(14) | 11.448 (Neutral) |
| Williams %R | -91.118 (Oversold) |
| Classic pivots S3 to R3 | -0.0260, 0.1807, 0.3321, 0.5388, 0.6902, 0.8969, 1.0483 |

Investing, October 19, 2026
Price sits between S1 ($0.3321) and the pivot ($0.5388). A monthly close above the pivot would suggest improving momentum; a close below S1 would put the August low back in view. An ADX of 11.4 points to a weakening trend, not a reversal. It says nothing about 2030 or 2040.
Helium (HNT) Price History Highlights.
2020: Early Trading and Network Expansion
The network was already live by 2020: the first HNT was emitted on July 29, 2019, when early operators began running Hotspots on Helium’s own chain. Market trading came later. CoinCodex’s earliest price sample is May 19, 2020, near $0.27, and CoinMarketCap’s first daily record is June 8, 2020. CoinMarketCap shows a low of $0.2534 on June 10 and an intraday high of $3.62 on September 24. Hotspot sales grew through the year, and HNT finished near $1.27 to $1.29.
2021: Explosive Bull Run and Global Recognition
2021 was the year Helium truly broke out. It entered the year at about $1.3 amid rising hotspot demand and a global bull market. IoT adoption increased as thousands of new users joined the network to earn HNT. Investor attention grew as Helium showed real-world utility. The token dipped to about $1.2 on January 11 during a short correction but quickly recovered. HNT reached its all-time high on November 12, during the broader altcoin rally: $54.88 on CoinGecko and $55.22 on CoinMarketCap. It ended the year near $37.75 on CoinCodex, cementing itself as one of the top-performing assets of 2021.
2022: Market Crash and Major Correction
After an exceptional 2021, Helium entered 2022 near $37.9, still close to its record, and faced extreme market pressure. The wider crypto market fell amid rising interest rates and major failures such as Terra in May and FTX in November. These events coincided with HNT’s slide. HNT’s yearly high came early, at about $44.94 on January 5, before momentum faded. Capital flowed out of altcoins. By December 31, HNT was near $1.51, its lowest point of the year, and it closed at about $1.53, roughly 97% below its all-time high.
2023: Recovery and Strategic Shift
Helium started 2023 near $1.53 as the team focused on infrastructure, and set its yearly low of about $1.17 on March 23. The Solana migration completed on April 18, but HNT stayed near $1.91 at its April peak, so the migration did not coincide with a rally. The big move came late in the year, as Helium Mobile’s consumer plan drew attention and the broader market recovered: HNT reached about $9.39 on December 20 and closed the year near $6.8 to $7.
2024: Consolidation with Volatility
In 2024, Helium entered the year near $6.88 and experienced a mix of optimism and uncertainty. The crypto market was uneven, and many altcoins moved sideways while Bitcoin led after US spot ETF approvals in January. Helium reached its yearly high of about $10.79 on February 15. Profit-taking and market slowdowns then caused sharp pullbacks, and the price dropped to its yearly low of about $2.92 on June 18 during a period of broader crypto weakness. The year ended near $5.87, showing that volatility remained high and that the token held well above its 2022 low.
2025: Forecasts vs. Results
In October 2025, with HNT at $2.15, forecast sites still expected the token to finish the year well above $2. Here is how those calls compare with what happened. They are history, not predictions.
HNT’s completed 2025 range ran from a high of about $6.94 on January 4 to a low of about $1.38 on December 31, per CoinCodex, which is also roughly where the year closed. The mid-year low was about $2.11 on June 26, and prices fell much further in the last quarter.
| Forecast source (October 2025) | 2025 forecast range | Year-end result (~$1.38) |
| DigitalCoinPrice | $1.92 to $4.67 | Below range |
| PricePrediction.net | $2.71 to $2.91 | Below range |
| Telegaon | $6.34 to $11.03 | Far below range |
| Changelly | $2.01 to $2.1 | Below range |
| Coinfomania | $3.43 to $5.19 | Below range |
| Cryptopolitan | $2.25 to $5.47 | Below range |
Every one of those ranges missed on the downside, including the most cautious one. The lesson for the current forecasts is the same: a model’s low end is not a floor.
Is Helium a Good Investment?
The answer depends on what an investor is willing to bet on and lose. The case for HNT rests on measurable paid usage: Helium’s HNT page, accessed October 2026, reports about $50,000 of HNT burned daily and 49+ TB of traffic per day, and HIP-150 raised what carriers pay Hotspot deployers. The case against is equally concrete: the HIP-149 supplement will add more HNT than existed before it, liquidity is thin at about $3 million in daily volume, and the token traded more than 99% below its 2021 peak on October 19, 2026.
The old question “Is Helium a good buy in 2025?” now has an answer in hindsight: buyers at any 2025 price were underwater on October 19, 2026. That is not a forecast for the next year, only a reminder of how far HNT can move. Before buying, check the factors above (burn versus emissions, carrier contracts, supply schedule) and size any position so that a total loss would be survivable. Crypto assets can go to zero, prices can fall sharply within days, and nothing here is personal investment advice.
Is Helium Crypto Dead, or Does HNT Have a Future?
A collapsing price is not the same as a shut network. In 2026 Helium passed HIP-149 in July and HIP-150 in August, launched HeliumOS for carriers on September 1, and began carrying carrier traffic over Wakefern grocery-store Wi-Fi in October. Rewardable traffic rose from about 24,000 GB a day in June 2025 to about 91,000 GB by July 2026, per Helium data cited by Solana Compass.
Weak spots remain. Nova Labs agreed in August 2026 to transfer the IoT network to another operator or shut it down by year-end, and Noble Mobile announced in June 2026 that it is acquiring the Helium Mobile phone service. Will HNT ever recover? Recovery would need burns to outgrow supply, which HIP-149 makes harder until 2029. We found no credible source for a rumored September 2026 whale event.
FAQ
What Would HNT at $100 or $1,000 Imply?
The arithmetic is price times supply. These are hypothetical valuations, not forecasts, compared with the $80.92 million market cap on October 19, 2026.
| Target | Supply assumption | Implied market cap | vs. Oct 19, 2026 market cap |
| $100 | 196.61M (circulating, Oct 19, 2026) | $19.7 billion | About 243 times |
| $100 | ~347M (post-HIP-149 ceiling) | $34.7 billion | About 429 times |
| $1,000 | 196.61M | $196.6 billion | About 2,430 times |
| $1,000 | ~347M | $347 billion | About 4,290 times |
Future supply can change through emissions, burns and governance votes, so the implied value moves with it.
Can an HNT Forecast Be Used for MOBILE or IOT?
No. HIP-138, approved in November 2024, ended IOT and MOBILE emissions, and both tokens can be redeemed for HNT from their treasuries at a rate the token docs tie to treasury holdings. That conversion rate is not a market-price forecast, and HNT forecasts do not transfer to either token.
Does an HNT Price Forecast Predict Hotspot Earnings?
Not directly. Earnings depend on how much HNT a Hotspot receives for the traffic it carries, which HIP-149 and HIP-150 now set per gigabyte, and on the token price when sold. Electricity, backhaul and hardware costs come out of that, so the official reward rules matter as much as any price model.
What Does USD vs. USDT Mean in an HNT Forecast?
USD is a dollar valuation; USDT is a stablecoin that aims to track the dollar but is a separate asset that can trade slightly off $1. A forecast quoted against an HNT/USDT pair is an exchange quote, not a dollar value. Every figure on this page is in USD.
Does an HNT Target Price Include Trading Costs?
No. A model target is a gross market price, not what a seller would receive. Exchange fees, the bid-ask spread, slippage in a thin order book and the time a trade takes can all lower proceeds, so check the terms of the venue you actually use.
Where to Buy Helium Coin?
StealthEX lists Helium as HNTSOL, the HNT token on Solana, on its Helium coin page, with swap pairs such as HNT to ETH, BTC and USDT. StealthEX does not require an account. Before swapping, confirm the network, current rate, minimum amount and fees on the page itself.

Conclusion
HNT’s outlook is wide and uncertain. Forecasts dated October 19, 2026 range from a $0.115 bear case to a $1.58 bull case for the end of 2026 on CoinLore, and Coinarbitragebot sees a 2030 average of $1.62, while HIP-149 dilution and growing paid usage pull in opposite directions. The token has already lost most of its value twice, and it can lose more.
