Any GRT price prediction has to start with a strange mismatch. The Graph’s network serves more than 75,000 projects, yet its token was trading at $0.0239, roughly 99% below its 2021 peak. That gap helps explain why forecasts for GRT swing so widely, from modest declines to several-fold gains by 2030, and why each one is best read as a scenario rather than a promise. To put those numbers in context, we start with the current market snapshot and GRT’s price history, then walk through the outlook for 2026, 2027, 2030, 2040, and 2050, along with the factors that could move the price.

The Graph and GRT: Protocol and Token Overview
The Graph is a network that makes blockchain data easy to use. Reading data straight from a blockchain is slow, so The Graph organizes it in advance. Developers build Subgraphs, small open APIs that tell the network which smart contract data to collect, and apps then ask for exactly what they need using GraphQL. According to its 2026 roadmap, The Graph had served more than 1.27 trillion queries to over 75,000 projects by early 2026.
Several groups keep the network running, and all of them use GRT. Indexers run the servers that store the data and answer queries. Each one has to stake at least 100,000 GRT, according to the official docs, and part of that stake can be taken away if they serve wrong data. People who don’t run servers can join as Delegators, lending their GRT to an Indexer for a share of its rewards, while Curators point Indexers toward the Subgraphs worth indexing. In December 2025, an upgrade called Graph Horizon rebuilt this setup so new kinds of data services can plug into the same staking and payment system. For now, Subgraphs are still the only live service, as the Horizon docs note.
GRT is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, and it also lives on Arbitrum, where most of the protocol now runs. Its job is to secure the network through staking and to pay Indexers for their work. Using the network, though, doesn’t always mean buying GRT. The pricing docs show that developers can pay for queries by card and AI agents can pay in USDC, while gateways pay Indexers in GRT behind the scenes. Indexers also earn newly issued GRT at about 3% a year, so supply keeps growing whatever demand looks like. That is why heavy network use doesn’t automatically lift the price.
GRT Price and Market Snapshot
All figures come from CoinGecko, captured October 19, 2026.
| Metric | Value |
| Price | $0.0239 |
| Market cap | $261.45 million |
| 24-hour volume | $7.93 million |
| Market cap rank | #152 |
| Circulating supply | 10.941 billion GRT |
| Total supply | 11.613 billion GRT |
| Max supply | None (uncapped) |
| Fully diluted valuation | $277.5 million |
CoinGecko calculates market cap from circulating supply, meaning tokens tradable on the market today. Total supply counts every GRT minted so far, including locked or non-circulating tokens, which is why fully diluted valuation runs about 6% higher. Because issuance continues, CoinGecko lists no maximum supply. Its 24-hour range at capture was $0.02362 to $0.0247, and its 7-day range was $0.02334 to $0.02839.
The Graph Price History and Major Milestones
2020–2021. The Graph Network went live on December 17, 2020, and GRT started trading on Coinbase Pro and OKEx the next day. It arrived just as the crypto bull run was picking up speed, and within two months the token hit its all-time high of $2.84 on February 12, 2021. By the end of that year, though, much of the rally had already faded.
2022–2024. The bear market of 2022 dragged GRT down to $0.052, and it never got close to its old peak again. The protocol kept growing in the meantime: in 2024, users of the old hosted service moved onto the decentralized network, and indexing rewards fully shifted to Arbitrum in June. GRT climbed to $0.4901 that year, its best level since 2021 but still about 83% below the record.
2025–2026. The slide picked up again in 2025, and in August 2026 GRT fell to a new all-time low of $0.01298. A short bounce followed in late September, around the time the Foundation began moving Subgraph Studio traffic onto the network. GRT closed at $0.0292 on September 29, then drifted back to $0.0243 by October 17.
| Year | Low | High | Key event |
| 2022 | $0.052 | $0.7281 | Crypto bear market |
| 2023 | $0.0557 | $0.2275 | — |
| 2024 | $0.1141 | $0.4901 | Hosted-service users move to network; rewards fully on Arbitrum (June) |
| 2025 | $0.0327 | $0.2551 | Graph Horizon launches (December) |
| 2026 YTD | $0.01298 | $0.0447 | All-time low (August) |

GRT Price Prediction for 2026 and 2027
CoinLore expects GRT to finish 2026 somewhere between $0.00607 and $0.0644, with $0.0101 as its base case. With GRT at $0.02390 on October 19, that base case would mean a drop of about 58% in the last ten weeks of the year. CoinDataFlow is less extreme, putting 2026 between $0.01397 and $0.023423, a band that sits just under the current price. MEXC’s calculator lands at $0.02357. For context, GRT has traded between $0.01298 and $0.0447 so far this year.
For 2027, the range widens. CoinLore’s scenarios run from $0.00857 to $0.0872, with a base case of $0.0143, while CoinDataFlow sees GRT trading between $0.013411 and $0.039133. MEXC’s 5% growth path gives $0.024748. Taken together, the models lean toward a flat or weaker 2027, but they leave room for a move back toward $0.04 to $0.09 if the market turns.
The Graph Price Prediction for 2030
By 2030, CoinLore sees GRT between $0.0203 and $0.174, with a base case of $0.0339, while CoinDataFlow is more optimistic at $0.0424097 to $0.194041 and an average of $0.118225. MEXC’s calculator puts GRT at $0.028653. CoinLore builds its scenarios from past volatility and market cycles, and CoinDataFlow ties its range to how much of Bitcoin’s historical growth GRT might capture. Neither model looks directly at The Graph’s network usage, so the gap between them mostly reflects different views of the wider crypto market. If Horizon brings in steady fee revenue, the upper half of these ranges becomes easier to justify; if issuance keeps outpacing demand, the lower half looks more realistic.
GRT Price Prediction for 2040 and 2050
CoinLore’s long-term model puts GRT between $0.1611 and $0.7802 in 2040, with a base case of $0.2685, roughly 11 times the October 19 price of $0.0239. MEXC’s 5% calculator gives a far more modest $0.046691 for 2040 and $0.076076 for 2050. That spread shows how much these horizons depend on assumptions: CoinLore’s scenarios imply GRT wins back a meaningful part of its lost value, while steady 5% growth would leave it below even its 2024 low of $0.1141. Over two decades, supply also keeps growing at about 3% a year, so higher prices would need demand for The Graph’s data services to grow faster than new tokens enter the market.
What Could Affect the GRT Price?
GRT’s price is a tug of war between demand for the token and steady new supply, set against the mood of the wider crypto market.
Adoption and demand: Paid queries are settled with Indexers in GRT, so the more apps rely on the network, the more GRT flows through it. That is why the Foundation’s move of Studio traffic for BNB Chain and Polygon onto the network by October 8, 2026, matters: more queries become paid ones.
Network activity: In dollar terms, usage is still small: CoinGecko showed $48.13 in 24-hour fees on October 19, 2026, far too little to offset new issuance.
Protocol economics: The roadmap expects Horizon services like Substreams and Amp to bring more fees, burns and staking, tying token demand to usage. For now, these are plans, not results.
Supply: The network mints 120.73 GRT per block, and since GIP-0089 passed on August 26, 2026, 20% of it goes to a Foundation fund. Supply keeps rising either way, weighing on price unless demand grows faster.
Market mood: GRT rarely moves alone. On October 19, Bitcoin dominance was 58.1% and the Fear & Greed Index read 41, a setting where small altcoins tend to struggle.
Technical signals: On the monthly GRT/USD chart, Investing.com showed Strong Sell on October 19, 2026, with 8 of 10 indicators and 5 of 8 moving averages pointing down.
| Monthly reading | Value |
| RSI(14) | 38.312 (Sell) |
| MACD(12,26) | −0.042 (Sell) |
| ADX(14) | 8.232 (Neutral) |
| Classic pivots S3 / S2 / S1 | −0.00279 / 0.00657 / 0.01789 |
| Pivot / R1 / R2 / R3 | 0.02724 / 0.03857 / 0.04792 / 0.05925 |

Investing, October 19, 2026
An ADX of 8 means the downtrend is weak, not forceful. A monthly close above the $0.02724 pivot would be a first sign of strength, while $0.01789 support sits just above August’s record low. These are Investing.com readings, not StealthEX advice.
GRT Price Prediction FAQs
What Would GRT Price Targets of $1, $5, $10 and $1,000 Imply?
Each target multiplied by CoinGecko’s 10.941 billion circulating GRT (October 19, 2026) gives an implied market cap, compared here with the $261.45 million market cap that day.
| Target | Implied market cap | vs. today’s market cap |
| $1 | $10.94 billion | 41.8x |
| $5 | $54.7 billion | 209x |
| $10 | $109.4 billion | 418x |
| $1,000 | $10.94 trillion | 41,847x |
Circulating supply keeps growing, so real denominators would be larger. Market cap is a price-times-supply figure, not capital that must flow in.
Could GRT Return to Its All-Time High?
GRT would need to rise about 11,780% from $0.0239 to revisit $2.84 high of February 12, 2021. This measures distance only and says nothing about likelihood.
What Risks Should GRT Holders Consider?
Price swings are only part of the picture. GRT trades in much smaller volumes than the biggest coins, so selling a large amount at once can push the price down. The token also lives on more than one network, so make sure your wallet or exchange supports the version you hold. If you delegate GRT, getting it back isn’t instant. Decisions about new supply are made through The Graph’s governance, not by all holders, and crypto rules vary by country.
Why Do GRT Price Forecasts Differ?
Publishers use different inputs and goals. CoinLore runs volatility-based scenarios, CoinDataFlow blends technical indicators with Bitcoin growth assumptions, and MEXC simply compounds a fixed rate. Pages also refresh at different hours, quote USD or USDT, and define a year as a close, an average or a range, so their outputs cannot be compared directly or averaged into a consensus.
Is GRT a Good Investment?
GRT can make sense for investors who believe The Graph’s growing use will eventually show up in the token’s price, but that link hasn’t been proven yet. The network is clearly busy, with more than 1.27 trillion queries served, yet the fees it earns are still small next to the new GRT issued each year. The case gets stronger if Horizon brings in steadily rising fee revenue, and weaker if new supply keeps outpacing demand.
