TL;DR
- NEAR Business introduces a confidential treasury platform that lets companies manage digital assets and payments across more than 35 blockchains.
- The service combines self-custodial multisignature controls, private transaction details and cross-chain execution powered by NEAR Intents.
- Businesses can access treasury management without subscription or per-user fees, with the first 1,000 monthly actions covered by the platform and swaps subject to a 0.35% fee.
NEAR Protocol has introduced NEAR Business, a treasury management platform designed to help companies, investment funds and digital asset firms handle crypto operations across multiple blockchain networks. The service combines cross-chain transfers, confidential payments and organizational approval controls in one interface, expanding the practical uses of blockchain infrastructure for business finance.
The launch addresses a recurring challenge for companies holding digital assets. Managing funds across separate networks can require several wallets, different signing procedures and additional operational oversight. NEAR Business aims to simplify these processes while preserving self-custody and limiting the public exposure of sensitive financial information.

NEAR Business Connects Treasury Operations Across 35 Blockchains
The platform supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and NEAR, alongside assets available on networks such as Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, XRP Ledger, Sui and TON. This broad compatibility allows organizations to coordinate treasury balances and payments without relying on a separate interface for every blockchain.
NEAR Business also supports employee payroll, vendor payments, token swaps and capital allocation. Organizations can establish approval thresholds that determine when transactions require authorization, helping finance teams maintain internal controls without surrendering direct ownership of their funds to a centralized custodian.
Privacy represents another central feature. Transaction amounts, recipient details and treasury balances remain confidential, while governance records provide a way to verify how organizational decisions are authorized. This approach could appeal to companies that want the settlement advantages of public blockchains without exposing every financial movement to competitors or outside observers.
The service is initially available through an invitation process, with organizations able to request access through the NEAR Business website.
NEAR Intents Powers Confidential Cross-Chain Payments
NEAR Business uses NEAR Intents, infrastructure designed to coordinate transactions across blockchain networks without requiring users to manage conventional bridges directly. The system helps abstract technical differences between networks, making cross-chain activity easier to incorporate into routine financial operations.
Each treasury uses a self-custodial multisignature contract, while a multiparty computation network handles transaction signing after the required approvals are collected. Additional capabilities include bulk payments, hardware wallet signing, multiple treasuries and exportable transaction records for accounting and auditing.
