Injective [INJ] announced a partnership with BDACS on the 20th of October to bring KRW1 to its ecosystem.

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop won-denominated settlement for real-world assets (RWAs) and tokenization. Issued by BDACS, KRW1 is backed 1:1 by Korean won cash reserves held at a major Korean bank.
The initiative could give Korean investors a local-currency route into tokenized markets. Institutional minting and redemption remain subject to regulatory approval.
Why is Injective targeting Korean won settlement?
The partnership expands Injective’s RWA ambitions in one of the most active digital asset markets. It also builds on the network’s work with POSCO International and LG CNS, alongside South Korea’s push for won-denominated stablecoins.
On top of that, stablecoins have become a major settlement channel for on-chain finance. According to Allium, Total Stablecoin Supply reached $336 billion, with Adjusted Supply at $311 billion.

In Korea, dollar-backed stablecoins have dominated activity. Injective cited roughly $10 billion in net stablecoin outflows from Korean exchanges over 18 consecutive months.
That created an opening for won-denominated settlement, allowing tokenized assets to trade without first routing through dollar stablecoins.
KRW1 could help fill that gap. Whether it reduces offshore outflows would depend on adoption and the markets available.
Is Injective attracting more onchain capital?
The Korean initiative followed Injective’s expansion into other tokenized asset markets. Days earlier, Pineapple Financial announced plans to tokenize its $10 billion mortgage portfolio.
Meanwhile, on-chain capital also increased. AMBCrypto previously reported that Injective’s Total Value Locked (TVL) rebounded by over $2 million in less than two weeks.

At the same time, Stablecoin Market Cap rose from $12 million to $17 million. These increases pointed to more capital on the network. Sustained transaction activity would offer stronger evidence of growing utility.
Could Injective’s expansion support INJ toward $10?
The ecosystem’s expansion could strengthen the investment case for IInjective [INJ], particularly if new settlement markets attract sustained usage.
Still, the partnership’s announcement and its eventual contribution to token demand are separate milestones.
If adoption strengthens and buyers maintain momentum, INJ could target $10 in the short term. That remains a conditional outlook. The partnership alone does not establish a price target.
Final Summary
- Injective and BDACS signed an MOU to develop KRW1 settlement for tokenized assets.
- Injective’s rising TVL and Stablecoin Market Cap supported its expansion narrative, while the $10 INJ outlook remained conditional.
