Key Takeaways

Blackrock, Fidelity Drive Bitcoin ETF Streak

The character of bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) demand changed on Wednesday.

Monday’s $526.60 million surge had been overwhelmingly driven by Blackrock’s IBIT. Two sessions later, buying spread across nearly the entire market.

Bitcoin ETFs attracted another $528.40 million, lifting inflows since Monday to roughly $1.08 billion. Blackrock’s IBIT led with $234.99 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC added $212.71 million. Together, the two funds accounted for about 84% of the session’s total.

Yet six other products also finished positive. Grayscale’s GBTC brought in $32.59 million, Bitwise’s BITB added $19.23 million and Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB attracted $9.79 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust, Franklin’s EZBC and Valkyrie’s BRRR completed the broad advance.

Bitcoin Demand Moves Beyond a Single-Fund Rebound

The breadth is arguably more important than Wednesday’s headline number.

Last week, bitcoin ETFs lost roughly $229 million as institutions reduced risk. Monday’s reversal initially looked concentrated, with IBIT accounting for more than the overall net inflow as other funds lost capital.

Wednesday was different.

Eight funds attracted money, suggesting the recovery is becoming more widely distributed across issuers. That provides a firmer institutional backdrop for bitcoin’s price than a rally driven by one dominant product.

The first three sessions of this week have now more than erased last week’s bitcoin ETF withdrawals.

Ether Improves but Blackrock Remains Under Pressure

Ether ETFs returned to positive territory with $14.96 million in net inflows.

Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust led with $28.07 million, while Fidelity’s FETH added $13.03 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSSE, Franklin’s EZET and Bitwise’s ETHW also attracted capital.

Blackrock’s ETHA remained the weak spot, losing $29.32 million.

That internal split matters. Ether ETFs have still lost roughly $114 million this week after Monday and Tuesday’s withdrawals. Wednesday’s result suggests buyers are returning selectively rather than delivering the broad reset now visible in bitcoin.

Trading activity reached $695.71 million, with net assets closing at $15.36 billion.

Solana and Zcash Show Signs of Stabilization

Some of the clearest improvement came further down the crypto risk curve.

Solana ETFs ended a 12-session outflow streak with a modest $585,300 inflow into Morgan Stanley’s MSOL. The dollar figure was small, yet the break in direction is meaningful after two weeks of persistent selling.

Zcash ETFs attracted $15.18 million through Grayscale’s ZCSH, following Tuesday’s $1.61 million inflow. Net assets climbed to $745.39 million.

NEAR quickly recovered from its first-ever outflow, adding $830,700. XRP ETFs also finished positive with $708,520.

Grayscale’s move to expand in-kind subscriptions across 10 digital-asset products could also improve how larger investors move between crypto holdings and fund shares by reducing the need to sell assets for cash first.

Wednesday’s flows therefore carried a broader message than bitcoin’s $528 million headline. Institutional risk appetite is beginning to widen again, and the next test is whether that breadth can survive through the end of the week.
