Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are experiencing significant selling pressure, with approximately $1.07 billion in net outflows recorded during the last 30 days.
The large withdrawal of institutional capital comes as ETH struggles to preserve key technical support levels, raising questions about whether fresh investments could reverse the negative trend.

According to SoSoValue statistics, the eleven tracked U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs have amassed approximately $12.56 billion in historical net inflows despite the recent downturn.
Meanwhile, their combined net assets stand at approximately $14.53 billion, representing 5.11% of Ethereum’s total market capitalization.
Ethereum ETFs Face $1 Billion Capital Exodus
The latest figures show that Ethereum ETFs have experienced sustained capital withdrawals during the last month, highlighting weakening investor appetite amid broader cryptocurrency market uncertainty. However, there are early signs that selling pressure may be stabilizing.
The latest reported daily net flow stands at a positive $4.35 million, suggesting that some traders are starting to increase their exposure to Ethereum investment products.
Although relatively modest in comparison to the $1.07 billion withdrawn over the previous 30 days, the positive daily figure could represent an initial sign of improving sentiment.
Nevertheless, one session of inflows is insufficient to confirm a meaningful reversal in institutional positioning.
ETH Price Approaches Critical Technical Support
Ethereum’s price performance reflects the uncertainty surrounding ETF investment flows. According to TradingView data from October 26, ETH is trading around $2,332.98, following a significant correction from its recent highs near $2,800.
The cryptocurrency has slipped below several critical moving averages, suggesting that bearish pressure remains elevated.
Particularly concerning is Ethereum’s proximity to its long-term moving average around the $2,300 region, which could become a decisive technical support level. A sustained breakdown below this area could expose ETH to further losses toward $2,200.
Conversely, reclaiming the $2,450–$2,500 resistance region could strengthen the case for a broader recovery.
Ultimately, Ethereum’s next major move may also depend partly on whether institutional investors return to spot ETFs.
While the latest positive inflow offers encouragement, sustained capital injections and improving price momentum would provide stronger evidence of a potential market turnaround.
