A suspected tied to a crypto kidnap case has been arrested in France. Authorities in Montpellier arrested a young man after he allegedly tried to attack a family connected to crypto trading. The suspect, pretending to be a delivery driver, targeted a home in Saint-Jean-de-Védas.
The crypto kidnap incident happened on April 11 when the man arrived at the family’s villa in the morning. The family did not expect any delivery but still allowed him inside.

Once he was inside, the crypto kidnap suspect brought out a handgun and forced the father, mother, and children into a room. The father reacted quickly and confronted the attacker during a brief moment of distraction. Police, including the French Gendarmerie, launched an immediate investigation. Officers went door-to-door collecting information and evidence from neighbors.

Within days, investigators identified a suspect in his mid-20s. He was arrested on April 14, and his home was searched. A judge later charged him and ordered his detention in prison while the investigation continues.
