BNB Chain’s real-world asset holders have reached a new record high of over 300,000 addresses, placing it among major blockchains hosting the largest tokenized funds in the DeFi landscape. Data published today on the X platform revealed that the number of addresses (wallets) holding RWAs (real-world assets) on BNB Chain has exceeded 300,000 for the first time, placing the network among the leading RWA protocols by number of holders.
BNB Chain, a blockchain built and run by Binance crypto exchange, is an EVM-compatible protocol created to offer users high scalability and low-cost transactions to power decentralized applications. With its EVM-compatible network that supports Metaverse, GameFi, NFT, DeFi, and several other Web3 utilities, BNB Chain’s role is widely recognized in the decentralized landscape.
RWA Holder Count Exceeds 300,000 on BNB Chain
According to the data, RWA token holders on BNB Chain have surpassed 300,000, reaching a new ATH on the network today, August 6, 2026, indicating continued growth in the protocol’s position in the RWA sector. This accomplishment reveals rising confidence among RWA users in BNB Chain’s high network processing speed and low-cost transactions, as evidenced by the rapid increase in tokenized asset adoption on the network. This means that as institutions and large investors continue to explore the tokenized space, they find BNB Chain among the most suitable networks for engaging with real-world assets.
The implication here is that amid growth in the RWA sector, BNB Chain establishes itself as a frontrunner in the industry. It implies that BNB Chain is currently onboarding more RWA users than several other protocols, with DeFiLlama metrics ranking it second, at $5.64 billion in RWA TVL. Ethereum retains its first position as the largest RWA chain with 16.52 billion RWA TVL. Stellar, Solana, and Avalanche occupy the third, fourth, and fifth positions with RWA TVL of $2.5 billion, $2.21 billion, and $1.33 billion, respectively.
Why BNB is Primed for a Potential Breakout
While everyone in the DeFi landscape recognizes Ethereum as the network institutions turn to for tokenized applications, the data indicate that BNB Chain is eating into that market share as well, becoming a key protocol for real-world assets.
BNB price has been trading around $591.67, up 1.2% and 2.1% over the past week and month. Despite the broader market downturn, the crypto asset holds above $584, with active buyers defending the key support zone and building momentum for a market recovery. The asset has rebounded from recent lows, with metrics above indicating that buyers are showing conviction and helping its price recover. BNB Chain just took the second spot in RWA TVL, exceeding 300,000 RWA holders on its network and even overtaking Solana in the RWA race.
The significant increase in RWA value on the BNB Chain (being driven by tokenized funds deployed by institutional clients) signals strong fundamentals (RWA growth and heightened network activity) on the protocol. The data identified this as one of the bullish catalysts, breaking the technical downtrend and catapulting BNB’s recovery towards $615-620 price targets in the coming days.
