Public enterprise-grade distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform Hedera has announced a major partnership, strategically designed to position the Hedera network in front of institutional players within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. In a fresh announcement, Hedera disclosed its integration with Utila, an institutional-grade digital asset custody and wallet infrastructure.

The partnership aims to help enterprises safely manage HBAR and Hedera Token Service (HTS) tokens at scale.

Utila, which has successfully raised a whopping $51.5 million in funding and notably recorded over $200 billion in transaction volume, stands as a leading custody wallet and enterprise solutions provider for leading investors looking to control their on-chain assets.

Enterprises managing HBAR and HTS tokens will be able to access operational controls as well as key management capabilities required at an international level.

Through this partnership, Utila aims to bring institutional-grade custody and wallet infrastructure to the Hedera ecosystem while also extending Hedera’s reach into regulated enterprise and fintech deployment on a global scale.

The new development builds on multiple partnership announcements Hedera made this year. Notably, Hedera struck a major partnership with EU-regulated digital asset platform Archax to advance its tokenized securities on Hedera, including real-time streaming of cash flows and tokenized money market funds from leading institutional managers.

HBAR primed for price upswing as institutional interest soars

Following the recent announcements, market players have asserted that the aforementioned integrations through the partnerships appear attractive to institutional players. While the network itself sits as one part of a larger equation, Custody, wallet infrastructure, and compliance rails are what make large-scale adoption possible. Hedera keeps adding pieces that make it easier for enterprises to participate.

HBAR’s price value could benefit significantly from the recently announced partnerships if institutional interest in the network continues to soar.

Notably, HBAR, the 26th most valuable crypto by market cap, has dropped by 0.21% over the last 24 hours. Like other Altcoins, the asset is housing mild losses as market woes continue.

Market analysis and technical chart data show HBAR’s increased accumulation levels this period. Another market player revealed that a decent reaction at the asset’s multi-year ascending support level could keep the asset from hitting lower lows.
