Fresh off his Coachella debut earlier this year, Taemin is taking his next world tour across North America this fall in partnership with one of the biggest live-music companies on the planet.

Forbes can exclusively share the first details that the SHINee member and solo superstar has partnered with AEG for the dates and venues in the U.S. leg of the 2026–2027 Taemin World Tour . The six-city, post-Coachella victory lap mounted in partnership with AEG sees Taemin play multiple arenas in the States, opening on October 12, 2026, at SAP Center in San Jose, California, then continuing to major markets like Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, Chicago’s Wintrust Arena, and wrapping at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on October 23, 2026.

takes its name from the Latin word limen, meaning “threshold” or “boundary,” with the concept built around the premise that a boundary is not an ending but a gateway where transformation begins. According to tour materials, the framing is meant to reflect Taemin’s “ongoing evolution as he pushes past the conventional limits of a K- pop artist to further define his singular artistic identity.” Through , Taemin “will bring this journey of transformation to life on stage” through his signature artistry and world-class performances he’s delivered for nearly two decades.

The tour announcement comes ahead of Taemin’s upcoming Phase 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE new album arriving August 31 — his first full body of work in roughly two years, teased in July with cryptic imagery of a sugar cube swarmed by ants. The World Tour launches with three nights at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium from September 18–20, before Taemin heads across North America, Latin America, and Europe.

Taemin’s 2024–2025 Ephemeral Gaze World Tour brought his first-ever solo North America concerts in collaboration with promoters based in Seoul. Marking his first tour routed with a major Western promoter in AEG, Taemin plugs into new opportunities that seemingly led to larger spaces, best seen as he previously played theater-sized rooms like Las Vegas’ Dolby Live at Park MGM this past January and Kings Theatre in New York last year (with capacities of 6,400 and 3,250, respectively) and now returns to those areas via the T-Mobile Arena and Prudential Center (with both boasting capacities above 12,000).
