- Government-linked wallets sold over $43M in BTC in July, raising scrutiny of new moves.
- Bitcoin holds near $64,500 as traders watch $63,111 support and miner selling pressure.

The Royal Government of Bhutan has moved 300 Bitcoin valued at around $19.3 million to a new wallet address as BTC trades below the $65,000 mark. This comes after previous transactions associated with the government of the country, but the recent one is not proof of another sale.
According to on-chain analytics service Lookonchain, 300 BTC have been moved from a wallet connected to Bhutan to a newly generated one. The value of those BTC was around $19.3 million at the moment of the move.

The receiving wallet did not have any previous trading activity registered. The reason for that remains unknown because of wallet-to-wallet movement not being a sign of selling coins.
Why Bhutan’s 300 BTC Transfer Matters
This latest transaction is receiving more focus due to the fact that Bhutan has already made reductions to some of its Bitcoin holdings. In early July, government wallets were able to sell over $43 million worth of BTC.

However, the ongoing 300 BTC transfer is yet to be identified as either an exchange deposit or a sale of the digital currency. Bhutan is now a sovereign Bitcoin owner that receives close attention whenever it makes large transactions while BTC is trading around crucial price levels.
This move follows Bitcoin testing a crucial resistance area. Traders are observing the range of prices from $63,000 to $65,000 as an indicator of whether there will be a breakout or rejection.
Why $63,000 Matters for Bitcoin’s Next Move
According to analyst Ali Martinez, the on-chain level at $63,111 plays a crucial role. It is based on Glassnode data, where 623,000 BTC was sold in the past at this level.
The significance of this level can be explained by the fact that some Bitcoin holders might choose to liquidate their positions when the price reaches their cost base. This will exert additional pressure on demand if it starts falling near resistance.
Also, according to Martinez, miners’ activity during the last ten days included sales of 1,648 BTC.
Miners selling creates additional supply in the market. However, these figures alone do not define Bitcoin’s future movement, which is what traders observe while testing the significant resistance area.
Bitcoin managed to hold strong despite the possible selling pressure. BTC is trading near $64,500, with the $65,000 level of resistance being the main focus.
The technical analysis made the $65,000 area of significance. The breakout above this area would be considered a successful one, while the failure would keep the resistance level intact.
In addition, the prediction market revealed that there was no expectation of a drop to $60,000 in August. According to the market, this scenario was not more likely than the one where BTC remained above that level.
Now, the 300 BTC transaction from Bhutan’s treasury should be classified as an unknown wallet movement. Although the previous transactions made by it explained the high interest towards the wallet, there is no proof that those 300 BTC have been sold.
