The advocacy organization Stand With Crypto, which Coinbase established in 2023, has publicly backed 32 current U.S. House members who are seeking another term in the upcoming November 2026 midterm contests.
Each representative receiving the endorsement cast a favorable vote for the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act—commonly referred to as the CLARITY Act—when it moved through the House chamber. This proposed legislation seeks to establish comprehensive federal guidelines for cryptocurrency and clarify how oversight responsibilities should be divided between the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
The endorsement roster crosses party lines. Notable Republicans including Tom Emmer, Bill Huizenga, and Warren Davidson appear alongside Democratic representatives such as Ritchie Torres, Jim Costa, and Josh Gottheimer. The list also features members from battleground districts, including Arizona’s Juan Ciscomani and Pennsylvania’s Brian Fitzpatrick.
Tom Emmer currently holds the position of House Majority Whip. Glenn “GT” Thompson serves as chairman of the House Agriculture Committee. Bryan Steil oversees the digital assets subcommittee under the House Financial Services Committee.
CLARITY Act Remains in Senate Limbo
While the CLARITY Act successfully cleared the House, it has encountered obstacles in the Senate. Upper chamber members continue to disagree on multiple aspects of the legislation, and discussions have extended for months without producing a breakthrough.
Digital asset firms have designated the bill’s passage as a critical legislative objective. Stand With Crypto’s support for House incumbents represents a strategy to maintain favorable representation while intensifying pressure on Senate decision-makers.
Steven Horsford put forward the bipartisan PARITY Act during the current session. Bill Huizenga joined as a cosponsor on both the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act and the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Warren Davidson previously introduced the Bitcoin for America Act.
Political Contributions from Crypto Sector Surge
Stand With Crypto reports having over 3 million registered supporters across the United States. According to Executive Director Mason Lynaugh, the organization has evolved from establishing the existence of cryptocurrency voters to showcasing substantial grassroots mobilization capabilities.
“In 2024 we were very much proving that the crypto voter is real,” Lynaugh said. “In 2026 we’re very much showing that we have the organizing capacity and that our advocates are a true voting bloc that can move the needle.”
While the organization’s endorsements don’t include direct monetary donations to campaigns, representatives earning high marks from Stand With Crypto frequently benefit from substantial funding through industry-aligned super PACs.
Fairshake, the dominant cryptocurrency political action committee, reports having $122 million available for deployment before November. The organization has already backed 49 successful candidates throughout the primary season.
Combined political expenditures from cryptocurrency-aligned organizations have reached approximately $200 million for the 2026 election cycle, representing an increase from the roughly $170 million deployed during the 2024 races.
Stand With Crypto intends to reveal its Senate endorsements and selections for open-seat candidates as Election Day draws nearer.
