Solana (SOL) Takes Breakpoint 2026 to London, Highlights 'Token Supercycle'

Solana (SOL)’s flagship conference, Breakpoint 2026, is heading to London for the first time, scheduled for November 15–17 at Olympia London. The event is expected to attract over 8,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, including major players from capital markets, payments, technology, and policy. The theme, “Token Supercycle,” will center on the growing adoption of stablecoins, tokenized assets, and onchain economic activity.

This move to London underscores Solana’s strategy to align its ecosystem with the financial and technological infrastructure of a global capital hub. According to Lily Liu, President of the Solana Foundation, “London is where modern capital markets were invented. The opportunity now is to build markets that are global from day one, operate around the clock, and can be accessed by anyone with an internet connection.”

Key Speakers and Agenda

The initial lineup of speakers includes industry heavyweights such as:

  • Anthony Soohoo, CEO of MoneyGram
  • Tad Smith, CEO of Candy Digital
  • Balaji Srinivasan, founder of The Network State
  • Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana and CEO of Solana Labs
  • Raoul Pal, co-founder and CEO of Real Vision

The event will explore two focal points: Day 1 will cover “The Supercycle, Today,” focusing on stablecoins, payments, and tokenized real-world assets, while Day 2 will look ahead to AI-driven markets, programmable capital, and consumer applications.

Why This Matters

Solana has positioned itself as a leader in onchain financial infrastructure. The network accounts for over 50% of blockchain transactions globally and processed $4.7 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026 alone. Tokenized real-world assets on Solana have surpassed $4 billion in value, reflecting growing institutional and retail adoption.

Recent developments bolster Solana’s momentum. On August 22, Circle minted $250 million USDC on Solana, bringing weekly issuance to $1.25 billion. Earlier in June, ReconArt integrated with Solana to support stablecoin remittances and agentic payments. These milestones highlight the increasing utility of Solana’s network in real-world finance.

Solana’s Market Context

As of August 27, Solana’s native token, SOL, trades at $96.73, down 1.90% in the last 24 hours. The token’s market capitalization stands at $56.50 billion, making it one of the largest blockchain networks globally. While the token’s short-term price action reflects broader market trends, the long-term narrative around Solana remains strong, driven by its dominance in transaction volume and institutional adoption.

How to Participate

Tickets for Breakpoint 2026 are now available, with pricing tiers including General Admission at $550, Developers at $250, and Students at $100. A “Late Bird” option is priced at $800. Builders and thought leaders can also apply to speak at the event.

For those heading to London early, the Solana Hacker House will run from November 1–12, offering a space for developers to collaborate ahead of the main conference.

Breakpoint 2026 is shaping up to be a key event not just for the Solana ecosystem but for the broader blockchain and financial industries. Its focus on the “Token Supercycle” reflects a growing recognition that the future of global capital markets may very well be onchain.
