- Bitget expands KCGI beyond crypto with a 3M USDT multi-asset trading tournament.
- Traders can compete across crypto futures, stocks, commodities, and precious metals.
- The competition runs from September 9–22, with results announced on September 23–24.
Bitget has launched the 2026 King’s Cup Global Invitational (KCGI), a trading competition that now goes beyond crypto. The competition offers up to 3 million USDT in prizes and lets traders compete across crypto futures, traditional finance (TradFi) contracts, and tokenized U.S. stocks on one platform.
KCGI Expands Beyond Crypto
For the first time, KCGI traders can compete across 600+ crypto futures pairs, TradFi contracts for stocks, commodities and precious metals, and tokenized U.S. stocks. All trading results will be combined on one PnL leaderboard, making cross-market trading a key part of the competition.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the move reflects how crypto, stocks, gold, and other markets are increasingly coming together. She added that the new format brings traditional finance and crypto closer together while keeping the competitive spirit that KCGI is known for.
2M USDT Allocated to UEX Arena
The tournament’s UEX Arena will distribute up to 2 million USDT across five leaderboards: team PnL, crypto futures trading volume, TradFi perps trading volume, rToken trading volume, and individual PnL.
The biggest prize is 1 million USDT for the top teams based on PnL.
KCGI 2026 will also offer additional incentives, including the UEX Pioneer captain reward, UEX Treasure Map rewards, captain incentives, early-bird rewards, and prizes tied to the tournament’s closing livestream.
The UEX Pioneer reward will recognize teams with members who trade across crypto futures, TradFi contracts, and tokenized U.S. stocks.
KCGI Dates and Bitget’s UEX Strategy
The expanded competition follows Bitget’s Universal Exchange strategy, which aims to bring crypto and traditional financial markets into a shared trading environment.
Under the new KCGI format, traders will be challenged to move beyond a single asset class and identify opportunities across crypto, equities, commodities, and precious metals as market conditions change.
Registration opened on August 26, while the team and individual competitions are scheduled to run from September 9 to September 22.
Final results will be announced on September 23–24, with the award ceremony livestream set for September 25. Participation remains subject to eligibility requirements and regional restrictions.
