After a somewhat ho-hum season 2 and a slow start to season 3, fans began to wonder whether Silo would turn things around. Well, it did, and then some. As of this week’s season 3 finale, Silo has now racked up the highest-scored episodes in its history, with the final episode far and away the winner.

As it stands, Silo season 3 episode 10, Troy, has a 9.6/10 on IMDB. That beats the previous week’s episode, Farewell, which stands at a 9.3/10, which took the record when it aired. There are only three 9+ rated episodes in Silo history, and those are two of them. The last one is the season 1 finale, Outside.

Silo does not have the prestige buzz that other Apple TV sci-fi shows like Severance and Pluribus do, nor the Emmy nominations, but it has become a powerhouse among fans, and has an advantage over those shows. Namely, it’s only been 1.5 years between seasons while the others are 2.5-3 (or at least that’s likely in Pluribus’ case). Given that seasons 3 and 4 of Silo were filmed back to back, we are now less than a year until season 4, the final season, airs. And it will return when the show is the best it’s ever been.
