- Crypto exchange KuCoin revives Spotlight with Gno.land’s GNOT pre-listing sale.
- GNOT announced it will use pro-rata allocation if the sale is oversubscribed.
- Users can pay with KCS, USDT, or USDG, alongside KCS discounts and optional conditional price protection.
Crypto exchange KuCoin is reportedly restarting its Spotlight program with a new pre-listing subscription for Gno.land’s GNOT token. The exchange will offer about 7.75 million GNOT at a fixed subscription price of $0.0645 per token.
Notably, this Spotlight return includes several changes to how the sale will work, especially when demand is high. KuCoin will use a pro-rata system for oversubscribed orders. The platform has also added USDG as a payment option along with KCS and USDT.
KuCoin Revamps Spotlight with New GNOT Pre-Listing Sale Model
KuCoin has announced the return of its Spotlight program with GNOT as its latest pre-listing offering. The updated Spotlight program gives eligible users a more predictable way to participate in the token sale, especially when demand exceeds the available GNOT supply.
On September 14, 2026, KuCoin shared an official X post revealing the updated program. The post read, “We’re proud to support our Spotlight partner Gno.land.”
For context, Gno.land, developed by NewTendermint, is an open-source Layer 1 smart-contract platform built around Gno, a deterministic variation of Go designed for on-chain applications. GNOT is the network’s native token used to pay gas for storage deposits, contract execution, and cross-chain interactions.
Reportedly, Gno.land is introducing a new blockchain infrastructure project to KuCoin’s Spotlight lineup. The update allows eligible users to access GNOT tokens through the pre-listing subscription before the token becomes available for spot trading on the exchange.
GNOT Sale Gets Pro-Rata Allocation, KCS Discount and Buyback
In the latest update, KuCoin is launching a pro-rata allocation system. This means the company will allocate tokens based on the amount customers commit, rather than distributing them on a first-come, first-served basis.
KuCoin is offering customers more flexibility when subscribing. They can use KCS, USDT, and USDG to purchase. At the same time, KCS subscribers may get a discount of up to 10%, giving them an additional benefit when participating in the GNOT offering.
In addition, participants may opt in to the automatic buyback mechanism when subscribing. Eligible allocations may qualify for a buyback at the subscription price if specified conditions are met during the seven days following listing. See the official KuCoin announcement for full terms.
How to Participate in the GNOT Spotlight Campaign?
Interestingly, eligible users can participate in the GNOT Spotlight subscription via the KuCoin Spotlight Centre. To take part in the program, the user must first log in to their KuCoin account. Following the initial step, they can select GNOT and choose KCS, USDT, or USDG as their payment option. During the subscription process, users can also choose to participate in the conditional buyback program.
Additionally, KuCoin is running more activities around the Gno.land launch. The platform has already asked participants who have been a part of the Gno.land auction to link their GNOT address to their Ethereum address. They can link the Ethereum address they used during the auction through the GNOT Portal. This move could help users prepare themselves for the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE).
Another major related event is the “Gno & Tell” contest. KuCoin has already invited writers to participate in the contest. For the event, participants are required to write and share content about Gno.land. Winners will receive a portion of the $1,000 GNOT reward pool.
