When Madonna’s latest album Confessions II debuted, the set brought her back to the top spot on several of the most competitive charts in the United States, including the Billboard 200. The sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor arrived two decades after the original, and it earned the pop icon her milestone tenth No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Only a few weeks later, Confessions II is completely gone from Billboard’s lists, though several songs featured on the long-awaited studio effort can still be found on one roster. The Grammy winner collects a new top 10 smash this week, and Confessions II proves itself to be one of her winningest albums on one tally in America.
Madonna’s “Danceteria” Reaches the Top 10
“Danceteria” rises two very important spaces on the Dance Airplay chart this week. The single advances from No. 12 to No. 10, establishing a new high as it boogies its way north. “Danceteria” reaches the uppermost tier after only five weeks on the ranking.
Madonna Has Scored 12 Dance Airplay Chart Top 10s
Madonna has now racked up an even dozen top 10s on the Dance Airplay chart. She has been collecting winners on the radio ranking for more than two decades, and 2026 has turned out to be an especially fruitful period for the superstar.
Nearly all of Madonna’s 12 top 10 smashes on the Dance Airplay list have surged to No. 1. It was only a few weeks ago that the legendary artist nabbed her ninth leader, moving up on the list of musicians who have conquered the tally most frequently.
Only three of Madonna’s top 10 hits have failed to reach the summit. “Me Against the Music,” her collaboration with Britney Spears, and “Celebration” topped out at Nos. 9 and 4, respectively, more than a decade ago. “Danceteria” now joins that small club, though its promotional run is not finished. The single could continue to climb in the coming weeks and perhaps eventually challenge for the throne.
Here are all of Madonna’s top 10 hits on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart.
- “4 Minutes” with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland
- “Celebration”
- “Danceteria”
- “Get Together”
- “Give It 2 Me”
- “Hung Up”
- “I Feel So Free”
- “Jump”
- “Love Sensation” with Kylie Minogue
- “Me Against the Music” with Britney Spears
- “Miles Away”
- “Sorry”
Confessions II Has Produced Three Top 10 Smashes
Confessions II has now produced three top 10s on the Dance Airplay ranking as “Danceteria” lifts. “I Feel So Free,” the first tune pushed from the project, debuted in early May, and by the end of that month, it had reached No. 1, where it held for only one frame.
Last month, Madonna returned to the peak position alongside Kylie Minogue with “Love Sensation.” The collaboration also managed one turn in first place before beginning to descend.
Madonna’s Dance Albums Have Produced Multiple Hits
All of Madonna’s top 10 hits on the Dance Airplay chart come from only a handful of albums. Confessions II ties Hard Candy, as both projects produced a trio of smashes that reached the uppermost tier.
The original Confessions on a Dance Floor performed even better. That album sent four singles — “Hung Up,” “Sorry,” “Get Together” and “Jump” — into the top 10 on the Dance Airplay ranking.
Madonna’s “Love Sensation” Continues to Fall
As “Danceteria” climbs, “Love Sensation” continues moving in the opposite direction. Originally a solo affair, Madonna recruited Minogue to breathe new life into the electronic composition, and both pop stars benefited immensely from the collaboration.
This frame, “Love Sensation” drops from No. 21 to No. 29 on the Dance Airplay chart. The former No. 1 has spent a dozen weeks somewhere on the tally, and it may disappear in another week or two.
