On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Kerina Huynh filed a complaint in the US District Court for the Northern District of California against AppRadar, an unknown entity also linked to Awal Music and Riot Platforms, and several unknown individuals identified as John Does. The lawsuit alleges a sophisticated cryptocurrency fraud scheme that resulted in losses exceeding $757,389.

The complaint details how Huynh was allegedly induced to deposit funds into the AppRadar platform through representations of legitimate app-optimization tasks, virtual nodes, and Smart Contract activity. According to the filing, Huynh’s account balance grew to approximately $320,000, and she reportedly received a bonus of $144,777 on May 16, 2025.

However, between May 23 and June 23, 2025, the lawsuit claims that unauthorized transfers totaling $273,589 USDC were executed from Huynh’s on-chain wallets to an AppRadar-controlled wallet and other related addresses. The complaint further states that Huynh was later persuaded to make additional forced payments for “credit restoration” and “recovery,” totaling $147,000 and $126,800, respectively.

Huynh also alleges a separate loss of $210,000 on the Riot blockchain platform as part of the same overall fraudulent scheme.

The lawsuit claims that defendants communicated with Huynh via WhatsApp using representatives who initially promised full recovery before shifting blame. Independent reports from Crypto.com and Coinbase reportedly confirmed that nodes created “fake money” and that transactions were phishing-related, with multiple unauthorized Smart Contract Calls originating from Huynh’s wallets.

The complaint outlines five counts: Fraud, Conversion, Unjust Enrichment, Constructive Trust, and Violation of California Unfair Competition Law. Huynh is seeking compensatory damages exceeding $757,389, punitive damages, injunctive relief to freeze the involved wallet and assets, imposition of a constructive trust, and attorney’s fees and costs. A demand for a jury trial has been made on all issues.
